  • Check out this stunning Dark Red 1973 Camaro Rally Sport Z28. Come with me as I take a road trip across four States and stay overnight on a farm (in the back of a U-haul trailer) all in order to bring this very special, and very FAST, 2nd Gen Camaro back to Texas.

    I just love those 5 spoke American Racing wheels on it.That's one beautiful camaro.And some of us are very greatful he hammered down on it instead of idling around a parking lot in a circle.That's one mean sob!

    First year you could get A/C on a Z/28 because of the high revving LT-1 which was replaced with the L-82.(basically an LT-1 minus the solid lifters.

    I had one just like that, back in the early 80’s. Mine was green, and had a 4-speed, no A/C, and it was a beast.

      @jimmccune568 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You didn't get stripes from the factory with the LT Z28. Maybe the dealer painted them on. No gray in 73 maybe yours is a different year?

      @@jimmccune568 Mine was stripe delete and badged LT when it came in and so I did have black stripes painted on, my car was in fact an rs LT with Z28 package and a '73, and also dark silver the same as '71 or 2 with close ratio 4 sp. 373 rear L82 and in my opinion a bit more hp than 245 which was the rating, it ran and handled as good as it looked but in 79 I bought a Corvette, not near as nice as the Camaro was

      @@donaldgarver6594 Cool car and I am currently restoring a LT RS Z28 4 spd car. I have the factory dealer order book in front of me and no dark silver, just silver? I am a huge 73 fan! The LT was not stripe delete,. The option simply was not available on a LT. No box to check or uncheck! If that makes sense?

      @@jimmccune568 I'm thinking that 245 on the 74 was on the Air Cleaner, so at Engine! My 72 was 330 I believe and the 73 Stock Dropped quite a bit but my 73 was a Supercar compared to the 74!! On the blue car with a black stripes, you need to put the Z 28 on the side fenders like they come on the 73 not for this Camaro 350 Z’s never said Camaro 350 it has a Z 28 right on that side of the fender each side

    I think that car was a Vinyl top car. The trim tag only had one 74 for the paint code. Looks like someone massaged the tag a bit ond got rid of the letter that was after the first 74. Tag should have read 74 74. It also came from the factory with white and black cloth upholstery. No big deal, I would have changed it to black as well.
