Steam-hunt: Pacific 850 and 824

State Railways of Thailand runs several steamer rides every year, usually on the occasion of a bigger holiday. This time, the nostalgic train went to Chachoengsao, a province just east of Bangkok.
I arrived a day earlier so I could record the steamer's arrival and activities throughout the day. The passengers had six hours to explore the city and I did some exploring too.
Chachoengsao Junction is one of the more important stations in Thailand, and you can see a lot of traffic, including frequent cargo trains between Laem Chabang Port and the rest of the country. But I am digressing here-the main focus was all about the steam!
