I met a guy who would go to his family cemetery and find unmarked graves this exact way. He let me test it on a confirmed grave(his recently passed wife), and it totally worked. I was honestly shocked! There was also a way to tell if it belonged to a male or female, but I couldn't quite get that. He called the method "dousing". Just some metal coat hangers bent to a 90 degree angle.

@@einienj3281 I suppose.. it's dependent on the diviner's intent and the strength of intent. Yes, it's primary use is water witching.. water meant survival and that's a pretty strong 'intent' programmed into our being which is why it's still practiced today by those in the know.
Makes me want to try it for other things.. but I don't need gold to survive, that just make life a little more tolerable, or more complex depending on your world view.

HAHAHAHAH!!! Reading the comments blows me away.. Water Witching.. use of divining rods goes so far back into old history and tradition.. and an ass load of doubters go on about the ridiculousness of the old craft.. Well, get used to it.. it's still practiced successfully for a lot of water well drillers.. like it or not, doubt it all you want, mock it all you want, it works. Loose the old ways and we loose our origins. So laugh and scoff all you want.. just proves your biased ignorance.. and will more than likely hasten your extinction.
