Wow I can relate with candance about praying out loud it’s also my biggest insecurity. I do also pray from my heart and sometimes to me doesn’t sound good or enough but when God listen and answer my prayer I cry too. And thank him so much for listening to me. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one ❤

I have been deeply encouraged each week by not only this season, but every season I watch. I feel like I relate to every topic and example discussed, even saying out loud, "that's me." Especially the praying out loud... lol Thank you for being the tool God is using in a dark world to bring a light and a blessing to all those who see!
A lot of the prayers I have written down are word for word prayers I have heard Priscilla pray. In her sermons, podcasts she’s been on, speaking engagements. Even on she did on this show for conviction in our children. I am learning how to write my own but she ALWAYS has a prayer that hits close to home. Thank you

I have to share this. My Mom, brother, and I were at East Of Chicago Pizza Company one time. Someone had paid for not only their meal but ours too!!! They didn't want acknowledgement so they left before we ever got to thank them.
I had the same similar experience happen to me. My daughter was with me on the drive thru at McDonald's. I was able to pay for the car behind us. It was a blessing 🙌 🙏
I had a double mastectomy a couple weeks ago diagnosed with DCIS & I have watched every episode in this season! I am so happy i got to be a part of watching literally my 2 favorite God fearing women together! I LOVE YOU GUYS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR THIS! Thank you for blessing me ladies! ❤

Oh Candace thank you for sharing that vulnerable part of your fear. We allllll go through this or will go through it. So i had two situations the first one i was asked to pray in a circle. I was to scared so i didn't do it. My second time i was in church service in the second or third row. I wasn't even paying attention. I raised my hand and next thing you know i was standing in front of the church with the pastor Waiting for me to pray. We have a huge church. I wanted to run out the door and never return from embrassment. I couldn't believe i got my self in this situation. Well the part i missed was the pastor asked who wants to pray for someone. I didnt know we had to stand in front of the church and be the one to actually pray. I thought we was just giving a name and then the pastor was going to pray. Well i was up there so i just stood their looking around lol. They started to cheer me on which made it worst. I was so embarrassed but then the pastor said who do you want to pray for: I SAID A LADY WHO I LOOKED UP TO WHICH WAS A PASTOR AND HER SON JUST DIED AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW. I HADN'T SPOOK TO HER IN A WHILE. THE PASTOR SAID THIS WAS GOD ORDINATE . I prayed and sat down but felt better after i realized i encouraged a person who was there for me in my struggles.
I just want you two ladies to know that God has and is using you both. I am so thankful for the wisdom and encouragement that I have received through your sweet episodes of this podcast. I pray that The Lord will continue to bless you both. This has been so special.

Wow, Candace and Priscilla all I can say is wow I needed this episode a lot today. My grandma‘s back is hurting. My mom is sick now and I think she has the neural virus again. You also made me wanna cry when you talked about war room let me tell you why. Did you guys know Mandisa? Well, the time she was really depressed. She went to the movie only because her song was in it. The song was Press On and she was mad because it had a happy ending and her friends drove up in their car and had sticky notes on the car that said I love you please don’t go. Please don’t be depressed. This episode reminded me of something in boss camp said on one of the last episodes of the season you talked about Ann Voskamp she said don’t think of prayer as the least thing we can do but the most thing we can do😢 Priscilla doesn’t need to come back with a bonus episode and I don’t say that to be mean but I say that because this season ended so perfectly with that episode yes I am disappointed, but something the Holy Spirit just tells me that this season ended so perfectly with that episode. You should have Matthew West on the podcast next he has a new album out called. Don’t stop praying and that album is basically about all the different kinds of prayers that we pray you could continue the conversation about prayer with him. His album has been such a blessing to me with all the stuff going on in the world. His album has drowned out all the noise you can talk about the songs with him just like you did with Katy Nicole I’ve been struck by the verse and Matthew 6:6 Go into your room shut the door and pray to your father and secret and your father in heaven will reward you. Sometimes we think we have to bring up this tidied up version to the feet of Jesus but yesterday yesterday I didn’t after the attack in Washington DC I prayed I said, Lord, I know this is not the prayer. I usually do, but I just want to be honest with you because that’s who you are a loving father who care cares about our prayers and so I prayed for the world and the people in Washington DC and I opened my eyes and I went to bed, but I got up at four in the morning this morning. Sometimes the mentality that we have in our lives is to stop praying and start worrying when things happen that are out of our control. When the reality is that there is only one who is on the throne and who is in control even when our lives seem out of control. Your episode today reflected the devotion I wrote. I wanna write a devotional book just like you did BTW, her devotional plan is out now it’s called from warrior to warrior. I suggest you go get it. I’ll get it someday. I’m sorry if this is a long comment. But the episode really spoke to me and I want to pray over you guys. I may not have a platform yet. But I pray that I will soon just like you and Priscilla. Dear heavenly father, I thank you for this episode today. I thank you that you know what we need for you. Take care of the birds in the air and the flowers that bloom so how much more will you take care of us? Your word says we can’t add a single day by worrying our life away God thank you that we have the opportunity and that we can live in a country old and freely to proclaim your name and pray to you thank you that prayer isn’t just a one-way conversation. It’s a two way conversation helpless to be still and know that you’re a God even when life throws a curve balls I pray that no matter what we go through in life that we would be reminded that there’s one who’s still on the throne and still in control even when our lives seem out of control I pray for every person in the comment section whatever they’re going through whether it’s a sickness like my mom or cancer like my grandma‘s friend Tina. I also pray over my grandma‘s back. It’s been hurting for a long time. I pray that you would remind her that you’re in control and that your strength is perfect. I pray that when we worry, prayer wouldn’t be a last resort. I pray that we would treat prayer as a priority, not a thing on our to do list. I pray that we would be reminded that we don’t have to have it all together because you were holding us together. I pray for the person in this comment who needs a breakthrough. I pray that they would not give up and that they would persist in prayer and keep praying until they get their answer and even if they don’t get their answer or exactly why they’re going through the situation that they would remember that your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. I pray that we wouldn’t write down our prayers, but that we would speak from the heart and let you move I pray that we would remove our will for yours if a beer will Lord take this sickness from my mom. This hurt from my grandma‘s back and the sickness from Tina in a way that you can only understand, but not my will, but yours be done. Thank you for hearing our prayers even before we say a word God, we love you we trust you and we surrender our lives to you. Ok Candace, I’m sure you hear this so many times and you will keep hearing it, but. The Lord has used u again and this time He used you and Priscilla together to answer a prayer for me. I have been listening to ur podcast for a while now and all are amazing…….this last one with Priscilla was out of the park for me. God has been changing so many things and paths in my life and my family life these past months. He has been leading us in a different direction of plans and all for His kingdom but has been challenging and scary at the same time. This podcast was exactly my prayer to the lord and burning in my heart, all the way to the last prayer. Thank you to both and never stop being Candace. Your word says we can’t add a single day by worrying our life away God thank you that we have the opportunity and that we can live in a country old and freely to proclaim your name and pray to you thank you that prayer isn’t just a one-way conversation. It’s a two way conversation helpless to be still and know that you’re a God even when life throws a curve balls I pray that no matter what we go through in life that we would be reminded that there’s one who’s still on the throne and still in control even when our lives seem out of control I pray for every person in the comment section whatever they’re going through whether it’s a sickness like my mom or cancer like my grandma‘s friend Tina. I also pray over my grandma‘s back. It’s been hurting for a long time. I pray that you would remind her that you’re in control and that your strength is perfect. I pray that when we worry, prayer wouldn’t be a last resort. I pray that we would treat prayer as a priority, not a thing on our to do list. I pray that we would be reminded that we don’t have to have it all together because you were holding us together. I pray for the person in this comment who needs a breakthrough. I pray that they would not give up and that they would persist in prayer and keep praying until they get their answer and even if they don’t get their answer or exactly why they’re going through the situation that they would remember that your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. I pray that we wouldn’t write down our prayers, but that we would speak from the heart and let you move I pray that we would remove our will for yours if a beer will Lord take this sickness from my mom. This hurt from my grandma‘s back and the sickness from Tina in a way that you can only understand, but not my will, but yours be done. Candace, I’m sure you hear this so many times and you will keep hearing it, but. The Lord has used u again and this time He used you and Priscilla together to answer a prayer for me. I have been listening to ur podcast for a while now and all are amazing…….this last one with Priscilla was out of the park for me. God has been changing so many things and paths in my life and my family life these past months. He has been leading us in a different direction of plans and all for His kingdom but has been challenging and scary at the same time. This podcast was exactly my prayer to the lord and burning in my heart, all the way to the last prayer.
