I know I have written a few comments to this same video now but I just have to say it is usually not normally in my nature to cry tears of happiness but the moment I saw Hank, Yeardly, Weird Al, Nancy, and even Matt Groening himself all dancing and people who have just created my sense of humor thanks to the Simpsons as well as just being such a major point of my childhood and through my difficult times in life. This is honestly the closest I have ever been to actually shedding tears of happiness.
I find it sad knowing that the Simpsons have lost a lot of people from their early years. Voice actresses Marcia Wallace (Mrs. crabapple), Doris grau (Lunchlady Doris), Phil Hartman (Lionel Hutz, Lyle Lanley, and Troy McClure), and show creators James L. Brooks and Sam Simon. While these deaths are sad, It'll be a big knife in the heart when Nancy takes her last ride.

Well she’s singing live and trying to sing in her character AND also dancing to the beat all in the same time which can take a lot out of her you can tell she’s got very little experience performing live
I think it might be hard for her to rap/sing and do it and when they recorded the original they could re-take till the got the cut they wanted, also add efx as needed

Love how Nancy gets right into it its amazing to see that type of dedication to the fans
It's also hard to believe that Nancy was then-57 years old too! Yikes!
Nancy
nancy is really cool for doing this

The BEST
Matt Groening, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, Hans Zimmer and Weird Al with an orchestra doing The Bartman.
I've seen everything.
where? timestamp?
Theres a near close up view on all of them from 3:32 till the end of the video i think
ughhh.... I adore Nancy so much, she makes the whole universe happy just with her voice!! What a lady xx
Yay! Matt Groening the creator of The Simpsons is also doing the Bartman.
Weird Al was shakin' it in between Beverly D'Angelo and Matt Groening!! Woo! Thanks for posting this. Awesome!
Are you referring to Al Jean that's in between Matt and Nancy?
Raja Waqas Khan - No, I meant exactly what I said. Weird Al was dancing in between Matt Groening and Beverly D'Angelo.
+algonacchick you mean the guy in black? I thought that was Robert Carlisle.....

James L Brooks is still alive.
LJGreni no he's not.
I don't know where you heard that but James L. Brooks is still alive. Sam Simon died in 2015.
And now Russi Taylor (Martin Prince, Sherri and Terri and a few other background voices), who was also well known as the voice of Minnie Mouse.
@@joshuabrooks4907 It's 2021 and he's STILL alive.
Man this song takes me back, it was my introduction to the simpsons all those years ago
robhigg2203 yeah this song really baited for watching their show!XD
The Simspmns started on the Tracey Ullmann show in 88

Hollywood Bowl is the greatest concert venue ever. When you see a show there it feels magical.
Holy crap look at Weird Al dancing along right behind Nancy!
Scott Sandler weird al should do a parody of the bartman
He's getting down, lol.
Ay, caramba!
If Weird Al is in your show I'd be shocked if he WASN'T crushing it for every song
Boy, Matt Groening really stood out.
If you've never seen Matt, you can figure out what he looks like from this video.
Matt REALLY stands out
It felt like he didn’t know what he was supposed to do. But I don’t blame hi
@@Straw_berri3 I feel him not being perfect adds to the performance tbh, it's like seeing an uncle at a wedding or something
Matt Groening be dancing like someone’s reluctant dad that’s been pulled on the dance floor at a wedding 😂
I also loved Nancy, this makes her my favorite celebrity.❤️😊
Thank you Michael Jackson...writer and music genius
Did MJ right this song

Michael Jackson didn't write this song
that was amazing!
I love that Nancy Cartwright did this she is my favorite Simpsons chart
Nancy Cartwright's pretty endearing.
Tbh she's one of the most endearing and enthusiastic people I've ever seen and that's wonderful
Its awesome that she wearing the old school Bart Simpson blue shoes
I found this song so cool knowing that Michael Jackson composed this!
Omg!!!!! I really love thissss
Yeah, BART!!
Thank you Nancy for doing barts voice for this long

I saw it in person. Trust me it sounds much better live
I love this!!!❤️❤️❤️
Love Nancy she is so talented,Nancy is so amazing how she loves her fans
This is amazing 😍
Imagine Nancy singing this song 30-some years later.
Did she say "Do the Bart-Bart" instead of "Do the Bartman" at 2:43 or am I imagining things again
"Bartmort"
Is it me or does Nancy Cartright sound more nazellely doing Bart live or was intentional to sound closer to thr original recording of the song
Well she’s singing live and trying to sing in her character AND also dancing to the beat all in the same time which can take a lot out of her you can tell she’s got very little experience performing live
True
is it just me or does this not even remotely sound like her bart voice
James Machuga oh she can do the voice she IS the voice actor after all I guess they didn't ask for her to the voice pretty weird
it sounds completely off though. :(
I think it might be hard for her to rap/sing and do it and when they recorded the original they could re-take till the got the cut they wanted, also add efx as needed
James Machuga It's just you.
i hear it too
except Michael Jackson wasn’t there because he passed away.
RIP Michael Jackson
@@MerSorax2007 I know he would have danced on the stage as well, can you imagine seeing him and Weird Al on the same stage?

any chance they closed the evening with Tom Jones ? :p
My favorite sing from The Simpsons!
The guy in the black shirt portrayed Mr. Gold from "Once Upon a Time"...I can't seem to remember the actor's name, though
Robert Carlyle.

Get Nancy some air!!!
A-113 référence Disney Pixar ?
Hey Matt!
who is woman with pink outfit on ? ♡it
Beverly D'Angelo as Lurleen Lumpkin, the country singer who has a crush on Homer.
Here I go
Did anyome saw wierd al?
Anyone notice that Bart sounds a little like Lucas from Mother 3
Weird al is dancing the most! Even out of Nancy 😂
Seriously?!? Such a great ensemble and you’re literally recording the screen with a 30 year old video.
Is that Dolly Parton?
It's Lurleen Lumpkin, the country music singer who gets a crush on Homer in one episode.
1990-2016 28 seasons of the Simpsons
Ay, caramba!
That sounds nothing like bart
FYI Michael Jackson produced this song
Man Nancy doesn’t doesn’t sound the same
She just had a hard time, dancing and singing in character as Bart at the same time.
Nice.
Weird Al giving it all in his a dancing at the end!!!
That doesn't sound like Bart but mkay
Edit: Boi this sounds nothing like the original
unoriginal boi Apparently it sounded better in real life, it’s just because its recorded
That's the actress that voices bart
Bartmort???
well, it was different , and i do respect you still. moneys on the table use phone to call a cab .
Was that Wierd Al dancing?...
I don't like this the music was too loud for her voice
cool
Everybody if u can do the bartman
Bart Simpson was always voiced by Nancy Cartwright a woman!
I didn't know about it until my sister told me about that. And that was probably ten years ago
I didn't know til I saw the movie
How did they project onto the sky like that?
ummm
it’s a tv

Weird Al is dancing in this video.
So sad
Nancy did really good but that does not sound like bart
Gives Me Michael Jackson Bad Vibes all the way
Disco heather disco courtney disco gwen disco cody and disco Sierra sing this song to piss off puma loco and chief Suarez
El tigre and frida will sing this song while Peter Griffin takes down the villanous chief Suarez
Why did Bart Simpson ( USED ) to be voiced to by a girl?
Still voiced by the same woman. Show has been on for almost 30 years a regular little boy wouldn't have been able to maintain the voice.
It is still her nancy cartwright
cherrysoul78 That's quite normal for animated prepubescent boys.
cherrysoul78 what??
Go Lisa!Go Lisa!Go Lisa!Go Lisa!
Heather courtney gwen cody and Sierra do karaoke songs while Peter Griffin outwit the villanous chief Suarez
esto es una completa farsa pero la es verdadera la que michael jackson a compusto si
wow so off key
Strip away the whole Simpsons factor and this is just some old white lady rapping on stage.
She doesn't sound like Bart anymore. They need to stop making episodes.
