    I’m living in Korea. I watched your lecture from TED long time ago. I was so inspired, but unfortunately I forgot what you talked. And then recently, which is very frustrating situation for me, I grabbed your book “Awaken the giant within” and read it through. Your book prevented me from giving up everything. It made me take action.
    Thank you. I appreciate.

    I appreciate this podcast on "words". I am guilty of being negative... of using words to bring literal "curse" rather than speak life to bring blessing. I have been neglectful and a poor steward of what God has given me. For that I must repent and choose to speak life and be life to others who are just trying to get through another day. We can brighten a room or make it dark by our choice of words and what we are thinking. Frequency is power and can be magnified and compounded like money.... so we should compound love. Love casts out fear. Love heals. Love forgives and restores. God is love, and we are made in our image, so we should choose to act like our Creator rather than just have an "image" or appearance of the Creator. We are His ambassadors (as Christians), so we should represent His desire to love and spread love. I understand not everyone is a Christian, but there are still some benefits you can experience by using the principles God created.... which won't be as powerful or effective if a Christian did it because a Christian has the power of God's Holy Spirit inside of believers. Christians can compound love more than non christians because of the power of the Holy Spirit which is a love power multiplier.... the God infused helper (and part of the Trinity) to help us love when we otherwise would choose selfishness. This power overcomes evil, fear, doubt and all the forces of darkness that we spiritually recognize as demons, fallen angels and enemies of God. We can experience love and its compounding effect, but it depends on our choice. God loves us enough to give us a choice.
    If anyone wants to experience God's love, then choose to believe. Read or listen to the book of John. Understand our offenses to God cannot be settled or paid by any efforts of our own. Only the blood of a sinless man can pay the debt of sin offense to God. Jesus was the only sinless man and opportunity to pay the sin debt of the World. Jesus loved us so much that He gave His life so that we might have eternal life with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus bought all the debt with His blood, and He has the right to forgive or collect on the debt. We have to choose to believe and trust Him to forgive and save us from ourselves and the eternal separation from God that will occur if we die with sin debt. Ask God to forgive your sin debt and follow Jesus as your God, Lord, and Savior, and when you die, you will be resurrected to new life with a new body. It's your choice, so choose wisely. Choose love. Choose Jesus.

    i'd like to share one of my daily incantations. as a musician my version of 'priming' is different. i chose to use the time i dedicate to practicing piano scales to also be grateful and prime. since there are 8 notes in most of my scales, i chose this eight-syllable incantation: "I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY BLESSINGS" ... and it really works. i focus on my kids and all the other things i'm grateful for. if bad memories come up while i'm doing it i quickly shift automatically to finding the good in what happened and change my state to extreme gratitude. it seems so silly. but i spend up to an hour a day practicing and with this much gratitude in my life my whole world and relationships are beginning to shift for the better. in an extreme way. it's truly a blessing to have so much of Tony's content available for free online. I'll never forget UPW London 2016!! Still saving my life 8 years later... thanks Tony

    What a great video, this helped me so much. I fell asleep for a while in self pity and this video woke me up!
    So the conclusion of myself and some parts of my life I'm releasing is: "Thank you for the craziness and dysfunctional job that I manifested because I realized it was like a crazy thought t in my mind manifested." "I now take responsibility, I created it, NOW I dissolve it and create something loving and prosperous." Thank for revealing this to me! Thank you for making this video, Love You!

    Death and life are in the power of the tongue...choose life. BLESSINGS TO ALL 🩵

Thank you! (This wisdom really should be taught in schools... and then I imagine Hollywood and television programming would have to raise their standards so people would actually want to watch and listen to it. How refreshing would that be?!)

    I have learned since 2021, that often, we don't like an action of a person, but instead of rejecting that action or addressing it with that individual, we REJECT the person wholly, often labeling them, also, as bad or evil. 🙏✨️💞🕊

    Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
    Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
    where there is injury, pardon;
    where there is doubt, faith;
    where there is despair, hope;
    where there is darkness, light;
    and where there is sadness, joy.
    O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
    to be consoled as to console;
    to be understood as to understand;
    to be loved as to love.
    For it is in giving that we receive;
    it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
    and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
    Amen.

    Face your fears. Try new and different things. Get out of your comfort zone. Take on challenges. That's the only way to build self-knowledge, self-trust, and confidence. Otherwise, there's a risk that you'll spend your whole life on auto-pilot, never reaching your full, amazing potential, and living a life that you didn't really choose. That's the battle we all must fight as adults - if we want to live freely, consciously, meaningfully and authentically

    I have listened to your Get the Edge and the CD on emotions is one of my favourites. ( as it is in my car, and its message still rings true. Not just being positive. Sometimes you need to change your procedure or way of doing something or change your perception. Earl Nightingale, I find uplifting also. Positive words have the power to uplift and enthuse, or if overused without thought can become meaningless. Negative or critical words used in an honest way can have the power to make you change and challenge yourself to do better, or if overused negatively destroy enthusiasm and hope. Forgiving yourself and forgiving others so you don't burden yourself with hate and anger along with there is no glory in destruction, only creation. All parts of the Lord's Prayer.

    We are born positive. Little children are so up they are fascinated with the world around them. But when they get older, fears creep in. They have to fend for themselves. They are out of the cocoon. Their parents shielded them from these worries. Now they have to shield themselves. Tony sells shields. These are good shields. The wise will buy them if they need them.

    Confidence in oneself is a valuable asset. It enhances our life. Through it we obtain a certain amount of security and certainty. And this is strengthening. But true confidence is confidently knowing, that we have placed our trust not just in ourselves, but also in God. This was David’s confidence when he slew the giant Goliath. Yes he was very good with a sling wasn’t he. But all our confidence isn’t in the sling, is it. It’s in God. Therefore do all you can, knowing that you can, because it’s in God in whom we trust.

    I'm unsure if this is an interactive place, but for Tony, around 15', you mentioned the stacking of habits when a spouse lashes out, thinking they are safe to share with their spouse. What's the best way to deflect this and not last back out? (The person lashing out has been diagnosed as terminally ill, so we understand the anger.) These are family members, and it's hard to watch and not know how to help.

      Often one main factor & fix to that by studies can be testosterone too low, which plays a key role in the hydration , worth looking into if haven't

    This was so good! I do have a question - how would this relate to being in a relationship with a history of emotional and mental abuse? It's hard to have positive words towards my spouse at times so speaking that he is Kind and Compassionate when he doesn't really operate in those qualities, would that actually bring about those qualities in him? Or if he says he wants to change but doesn't really seem committed to the growth needed for change, if I start speaking My husband is motivated and is active in his pursuit of growth to bring about change, will my words change him? I know my words will impact myself, but can they change someone else if I speak them over them? TIA!

      You already know the answer to your question which is a firm No, your husband will change when he wants to. Also, try therapy? Asking in the TH-cam comments will not get you or your husband the results you’re looking for
