- After some time, the Digidestined were able to cleanse the evil from Koichi, but he was faced with another decision from the evil Cherubimon. Reclaim the spirits of darkness or face death? He chose death as he would rather die than to betray his brother.
He sacrificed himself in their battle against Lucemon Falldown Mode, and gave his spirits of darkness to Kouji. After they defeated Lucemon he awoke back in the human world. It turned out that he existed in the Digital World only as a spirit, and was never physically there as a whole.
Honestly I found this moment to be the most interesting out of all the spirits. Because yes cherubimon did lie to Koichi but here he was honest about the power of darkness being real it choses it’s owner and only those who have a dark heart can use it, just because koichi wasn’t showing doesn’t mean the pain wasn’t there
Dark is not evil. It is a place of comfort and rest. The dangers of it are harsher, and clearer than others, but everything has its dangers. Light can burn unintentionally.
The Mad Mystic I’ve been finding it hard to accept, especially when I’m confused about the dark being good, instead of bad, and the light being bad, instead of being good. I’ve been obsessively confused about it for almost two years, all because of appearances and elemental abilities.
Nothing is good or evil except intent.
I have my own little headcannon for Rhihimon. In order for a human/digimon to take the form, they have to not only accept the darkness, but understand it.

So when Koji and Koichi parents got divorced they each took one of them their father took Koji and their mother took Koichi the twins never met each other that's messed up their father mistake that his ex-wife is dead but she's still alive it was her mother who die

Koji and Takuya did the Mayonnaise challenge where you eat a spoon of Mayonnaise and try to swallow it without puking and they both failed Takuya and Koji puked up the Mayonnaise in the sink it was gross
