  • Sophia Bogle, book restoration expert and author of Book Restoration Unveiled, returns for a visit on Rare Book Cafe to give us an update on a recent set of projects restoring two volumes of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
    One book is finished and we have before and after pictures. The other one is still to be done. Sophia discusses the challenges involved with the second volume.
    Sophia mentions her series of Live Book Restoration she does most Thursdays about 10 a.m. Pacific time. Current Series is restoring a second printing of Emily of New Moon by L. M. Montgomery. / diybookrepair
    Sophia also mentions the helpful book she wrote: Book Restoration Unveiled. She suggests obtaining a copy from a local independent bookstore or on Abebooks.com.
