I worked for Bill Hinze in the 60's when he was on Long Beach Blvd. in Compton/ Lynwood where the 105 freeway is now, he was the main customer that installed hydraulic lift suspensions, there were other guys like "Joker" and Ron Jones that did some car hydraulic suspension, usually the cylinders, pumps, valves and other components came from Army, Air Force, surplus companies like Palley Supply Company, in Los Angeles, California. on I think Vernon Ave. Now everything comes readymade in kits.
