We are not affiliated to MailerLite - this is an honest walkthrough and use of the tool with Elementor :)

Question as I scroll through this three years old post-is there a benefit over using the embedded over the api generated drop down elementor way. You made this when it was sections and columns so just wondering

Thank you so much! This helped me add the mailer lite sign up form on the sidebar of my elementor page. I tried using the built in mailerlite widget elementor has but that did not work for me. This did! Thank you!!

Best to check the code provided. Did you add the the extra HTML they provide?

Thanks! It works!! :-) Unfortunately it seems not to be possible to set the form background to transparent or "none" to make it fit seamlessly into my website...
Is it also possible to work the other way around? In Elementor Pro I can use the Form builder and connect it to MailerLite. How can I integrate that one inside MailerLite itself? Including my desired double opt-in setting? I have installed the plugin into wordpress, I have adjusted the settings to "double opt-in"... but it doesn't seem to work so far...

Currently no it can't be integrated into the EL Form, and yes the Customisation for the Mailerlite HTML is painful.

@@websquadron actually... I found out and it works!!
Apart from the embedded forms you can also configure global "double opt-in" settings + custom mails on your account. (Account settings > Subscribe settings)
Once done and saved, you'll have to generate an API-key and you can enter the API key in Elementor settings -> integrations.
But be sure all domain + DNS settings are correct, authorised and verified.

Hey thanks for the awesome video. I've noticed that when I embed my mailelite form, if I have the height set on fit to screen, for some reason it cuts off the top of my page and the form is a little bit outside of the frame and as a result you can see the background colour at the bottom. I works fine if I set a min height but then it's not responsive. Have you had a problem like that?

From memory I do recall having an issue with sizing but as long as it was in a wide column it was fine. Hope you get it sorted. Sometimes embedding forms can be a pain. Was there any sizing values in the code that you could modify?
