live trading are like doing test/exam, post analysis is like doing revision. do to better in test, will need to put in a lot of hard work in revision. truly agree on the importance of post analysis and i do agree sometime i'm just commenting on what i did during PA. much more to work on for me. thanks for this great webinar Navin !

Yes, doubt can be something which can affect our trading for sure. However, as you get more experience and confidence with a strategy and method to trade, this will get easier to handle over time.

Also with not doing commentary on post analysis, I've found the way most teach in keeping a trading journal equates to little more than a ledger. PA is the meat that the journal is striving to be but never arriving to. It's not that the journal is useless; It isn't. But it is the PA that does the heavy lifting.
Indeed, while a trading journal is a useful tool for tracking trades, reflecting on strategies, and monitoring progress, it's the Post Analysis (PA) that provides the detailed insights and evaluation needed for growth 😉

I have a great example how PA will boost you up , I analyzed some trade so hard , placed it , went to sleep , and when i woke up I saw that I lost that trade ( on some funded account)- i made my PA and i saw that the trade was great , my tp hit , but that funded account could be wasted and i could give up and forget about that trade if i wouldnt do my PA , but the opposite happened when i did my PA :)

It brings doubts and also brings over confidence, which leads to careless trading. It happened to me, went 2k up one day, and went 4k down the next day
Sorry to hear about it! This happens quite often to many traders. This is mostly when the strategy is not solid, and after a few trades, we get overconfident and start investing more, only to realize it's not that simple. Once you have a good strategy, this shouldn't happen again. 💪😉

I don't know how but every time i watch your videos i make big losses , i trade more aggressively and over confident and greedy. But you still one of the best tutors on TH-cam
I think you get this confidence after getting an aha-moment. You have already noticed it, so now you have to be more aware of it as it happens.
So next time when you are trading after getting insights from Navin, make sure to be more aware of this overconfidence and turn it down a notch.
Perhaps also see if you can first practice these new insights on a demo account.

Post analysis... Path of self reflection... In trading world..Slower is faster .. At present I do PA in three steps after closing of Stock market... 1st-- what logic do you have applied?. 2nd.. Entry(timing).. right or wrong with explanation. 3rd.. Exit(timing)-- right or wrong with explanation... That's it.

So journaling your trades on a spreadsheet is different to post analysis
Yes, it is because journaling in a spreadsheet is mainly writing data down. Doing a proper post analysis will allow you to reflect on all the aspects of the trade, data, read and psychology.
IF POSSIBLE TO DO JUST ONE TIME ANALYSIS OF INDIAN MARKET , JUST HALF AN HOUR OR LESS , IT WILL BE GREAT
That is something we can keep in mind for the future. In the meantime though, all of the concepts taught in Navn's courses are applicable to the Indian Stock Market as well.

This can actually be a common problem for a lot of traders starting out. The key is to practice a lot and get that needed experience. With that, you will gain the confidence to enter trades each time.

Can you kindly share your P&L statement for a week ??
Many people advertise trading as the get rich quick scheme of our time. Everyone knows that it probably won't work like that. You have to put in the required work and persistence to make it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. In trading, results cannot be replicated. Two people can trade the exact same trade and will almost certainly have different results.
Because of that Navin is very hesitant to show trade statements, because it might invoke just that greed and idea that these kind of returns are easily attainable in a matter of weeks. Even Navin has spent years struggling to make a consistent profit in trading. People may forget that if they see big returns :)
However, for the sake of education :
