Ciao! I am learning italian because: I am from Poland and one of my friends is from Italy. We are in the same class in school. She doesn't speak polish and we need to speak in English. It must be very hard for her. So I want to make her feel better and learn Italian. She is very proud of my first steps. ;)

I’m here because I wanted to learn Italian for my grandfather. He speaks Italian and English and is going to Italy for the first time in June. So I thought I’d be a nice surprise if his granddaughter learned how to speak it as well. It's fun how languages with Latin foundation sounds and are written so similarly. I'm a portuguese speaker and most of the phrases I already knew how I should've to pronounce even if I had never listen to them. Listen i saw a Video called "I learn Italian in 7 days". You can challenge yourself and learn the fast way. With risking not know much vocabulary. Vocabulary is easy to learn later. Anyways I'll be using it to learn German.

I’m using Rosetta Stone and I feel like one I master Spanish, Italian will be next :) the languages are so similar. Mastering Spanish will make mastering Italian a tad easier!

There's nothing more beautiful and sweet than hearing a female speaking Italian, the most beautiful language in the world. My language is Spanish so I understand 60% of Italian. "Hi" from El Salvador (Central America).
Two years of Latin and then immersion in a multi lingual high school made Italian so much fun (not to mention the absolutely wonderful friends from Italy ! ).
It took me like 30 minutes to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night trying to memorize the words took me like an hour to fall asleep again when i turned the volume down woke up way too early not remembering a single word in Italian😂😂😂

I read an article saying that it is easier to learn languages in your sleep. I personally wouldn't know but if you wanna cut back on the time play it at 2x speed, that's what I'm doing and it should play it twice as fasts and the words are still understandable

It's true, but not 100%. For better understanding we use a sort of synonym with the same form: 'ottimo lavoro' (literally _''very_ good job')

My husband is not Italian he’s in fact Samoan and he speaks fluent Italian so much better than he speaks English. I’m glad I found this video so I can learn to speak Italian so hubby and I can conversate more often in the language which I think is a beautiful language. My husband is the reason I’m willing and desiring to learn Italian
