I have a shawl in the works with Lyons Landscape in Boardwalk. I placed the marker before the last 4 stitches and do my k2tog in the 2 stitches before it. Call me lazy, but it works for me. Love seeing you again and I do love the Bernat yarns as well.
move the maker to the 4th stitch from the edge then do the k2tog on the two stitiches before the maker and then you don't need to keep moving the marker
Have been wanting to make a shawl but every thing was to hard for me I’m 78 and just picked up knitting again after 12 years of not doing something I had done when my grandma thought me when I was 6 love it
From the Pattern: 12th row: Knit to last st. Kfb. 13th row: Kfb. Knit to last 6 sts. Slip marker. K2tog. K4. Rep 12th and 13th rows until work across longer side edge measures 62" [157.5 cm]. Cast off.
@@louloubydesign1926 Thank you for that explanation. I had to check out row 11. It became a bit confusing right after that. Like someone said, she did good in explaining until she got up to row 11. Update: I have mastered this stitch pattern! I know how to make this project now!! Yaayyy!!
Hello, My name is Brian and I was thinking of maybe making the Nigel shawl pattern by Lena skvagerson and I was thinking of doing this shawl in Jewel tone colors for the motif and a black background and I wanted to know what colors you recommend or what yarn brand you recommended and I wanted to know if this particular Shawl is beginner friendly or if not is it more intermediate to advanced beginner and I’m a little confused on row 1 of square 1 because I’m not sure if you need to Purl the whole row and i’m not exactly sure what they mean by placing the stitch markers in the recommended spot if you could explain a little bit more also if you could give me some tips and techniques on how to do this shawl or even send me some videos on how to do this shawl I will really appreciate it Thanks
Love this project, but something is off.....I near the end of 13th row and I’m short 4 stitches. Are there revisions to correct this pattern?? I’d love to make this!
The pattern has disappeared from the link you posted?? Could you please post it again as I try to follow the video but she is working very fast for me so thought the written pattern would help as a newbie knitter! 😌
But if you don't decrease it doesn't become a triangle it's not even one side comes out completely flat..I I'm using your technique to do a triangle scarf but with a different yarn I had at home..smaller so I'm using 4mm needles and I wanted it to be longer then just 13 rows so if I just bind off one side will be ------- straight...I wanted to make a "pointy end" like the way we started.how we do that?
Got it...after a few hours of knitting and looking at my work got what u meant..my other pointy side is the one where I do the increases 😁😁😁😁 I just had the feeling that the nice border that is on one side is the side that goes around The neck...all done
hi , please help me, my garter stitch is looking flimsy and not neat like yours, I have taken it out and started again, just doesn't look even, what am I doing wrong. this is my first project and I know how to knit, I can be on the tight side, please help. x

Very nice pattern but the music distracting and she was ok until row 11,then she started explaining how wonderful the design is ,which I agree, but she should have going on with the explanation and finally she went further to explain the repetition of rows 12 and 13 way ahead. I had to replay many times to grasp the pattern.
You went a little to fast for me. I would stop the video, and catch up, but that was very distracting. People that are experienced knitter knows how to make this pattern . For some of us that's trying to learn you might slow up a little. Thank you for your time.

Can't wait to try this. Got the pattern now have to get the yarn.
move the maker to the 4th stitch from the edge then do the k2tog on the two stitiches before the maker and then you don't need to keep moving the marker
Thanks for the tip! It has come in handy as I started knitting this triangle shawl yesterday afternoon... Who wants to keep moving the marker!!
This is better I think. I will do that . Thanks . I have been practicing knitting more then doing projects , but this one I really want .
Such pretty colors.
This tutorial helped me a lot. It is a great pattern and the yarn is beautiful
Making this pattern now! I'm using the BERNAT SUPER VALUE STRIPES YARN, SHERWOOD FOREST STRIPES colorway.
Can't wait to see your finished project! You can share your work using hashtag #yarnspirations on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Thank you for posting, this looks like a fun and simple pattern.
Exactly what i was looking for. Starting it now. I think it's easier to move marker on the way back though instead of having to readjust it every time
this is great gonna make for Christmas gifts thanks

Hi Vicki, Love this scarf/shawl. I would like to make a shawl could you explain how I would decrease on the othe end

To finish the shawl the pattern says to cast off, this means to bind off?
Love this project, but something is off.....I near the end of 13th row and I’m short 4 stitches. Are there revisions to correct this pattern?? I’d love to make this!

Love the stitch. But could I make a plea for not using background music. I find it distracting and unpleasant! 🙏🙏🙏
