  • WhiteBoard style discussion on research biases. This will be an introductory video on biases in research studies. Understanding biases is critical to knowing if and how a study conclusion can be utilized and applied to a population of patients. We will discuss the different areas in which biases can arise in studies ranging from data collection to data analysis to data interpretation to publication. Being able to read and digest a research study with a positive result means being able to identify areas of biases within the study. By doing so, only then can one decide upon the true utility of a study!

    Excellent info on common research BIASES! I loved the quote "If you torture data long enough, it will confess."
