@@DrivewayDreams I have the same axle back with an X-pipe... I dialed the volume down with 2 vibrant resonators. Still sounds badass without the mind-piercing drone.
Thanks a lot for this video. Was curious to hear how this axle back sounded. I have an X pipe on mine and I think this video sealed the deal on adding the C&L axle back for that extra aggressive sound
I bought my car with C&L installed & everything else is stock. I like the sound but I'm a borla S type cat back guy. I figured I should try C&L with X pipe but the whole cutting thing throw me off. I don't have saw & don't feel like spending on something I'd use it once, I don't know, is it worth all that even though I'm getting borla cat back with X pipe?
@@DrivewayDreams I really like how C&L tips look like compared to borla tho i believe it's like an inch bigger, so that's why I'm trying to give it a chance. What's the name of the saw you used?
When we removed Andy's resonator and installed a H-pipe his car got considerably louder. My house is two houses away from his and I can hear him start his cat from inside my house. Check it out in this link. th-cam.com/video/EFbRrNZZd9Y/w-d-xo.html
@@DrivewayDreams l’m just now seeing these mufflers tonight l wouldn’t have ordered these from American muscle 400 dollars l ended up with the Roush axle back black tips for 699 still not to bad they will be here today it’s been raining l should be able to install them in about a hour l been searching and looking at videos for a week l have a 2019 Ford Mustang gt black on black l am transforming it into a black beast
Personally I think the Axle Back sounds better. We did the redneck thing and revved it with no exhaust at all and I thought the Axle Back just had a better tone
I would totally be able to install an axle back on a s550 mustang now after watching this video! 💯
Don't be scared go for it.
That drift was nice….. very niiiiiiice.
He was proud of it. 😆
I’ll second that drift was sweet!!
This is the only C&L axle back representation on TH-cam 🔥🔥
Andy's Mustang definitely sounds good. The C&L Axle Back with the C&L H pipe sounds damn good and it's loud as shit.

Thanks for the info may to check those out.
@@LedBradshaw how was the drone before adding the vibrant resonators? Thnx in advance

It sounds so good 👍
Thank you for the great video.. after searching for days different set ups this sound is my favorite...mine will be in Saturday
Andy's car sounds amazing you will not be disappointed. Thanks for checking out the video.
Have the same setup on my 2020 pp1 and I love it!
Exactly the video I was looking for. Was looking to do this exact set up.
You going to go with this setup
@@DrivewayDreams after watching this definitely!
If only roush axle back had those tips
I have the same axle backs with an xpipe, I want it to be louder tbh
Bro really Andy's shit is loud. The drone has got to be terrible.
Awsome video guys

The C&L sounds good but if you like Borla I would just go with what you know and like.

Most people call them a sawzall or a reciprocating saw you can pick up for less than $100
@@DrivewayDreams thank you so much. Does 6in blade work or I need bigger?
Six inch should work. I think it's a three inch pipe.
How loud do you think it’d be with an xpipe?

That will look amazing you can't go wrong with a black on black mustang. Good luck with the build.
Thanks
I was wondering, should i get the same axle back or should i get the C&L muffler delete? Let me know because i'm extremely indecisive here.
