Their debut EP Escape the mind, their first full album 21st-century blood, and their QOTMS are ultimately their best of the best. The Mayday EP I didn't like but one song on it had too many filler songs in it. Then they went back to their roots and came out with their 3rd full album Error and nailed it a solid and powerful album. The Warning is an amazing band and I am dying to see them one day. Not sure I understand. Mayday EP consisted of 6 songs that now also appear on Error. There are 8 other songs added, including the bonus track. So, are you saying you didn't like the six songs that are also included on Error? And yet you prefer the other new releases which are also recorded using the same studio techniques as the Mayday EP. SMH Anyway, QOTMS has a warmer feeling to the studio recording because they used analogue tape for the raw recording and the master mixdown. Technically digital recording has a higher signal to noise ratio (a good thing) but the sampling of the signal means a good deal of the original sound is lost in the recording process. IDK if XXI Century Blood used tape or digital. But the recording technique does sound a bit different than QOTMS. Error is more of a commercial product because it was captured in high end studios in NJ and a well known and recognized, award-winning producer did the entire album except for the bonus track.

The Lunario recordings are best for the first go-through of the album, not just because of the recording quality, or the energy, or the crowd response, but because of the video backdrops that help to narrate the story. I include Dull Knives in that, mainly because of Pau at the start.

Great reaction. But "The End" is the one you should have done the Acoustic and Live. There is nothing like Dany's Solo parts on this song. For those you have to have the Electric Guitar.
Congrats on the 100th. When you'll look at the lyrics, you'll realize than (not intentionally) The End ends with "Start again", and Dust to Dust which is the first song of the album has this in the chorus "Dust to dust our bones will rust, And we shall start again" -- another "fun" fact - at the end of the show, Ale (13y old) was completely exhausted - the band, family and friends were going to have dinner, but Ale decline participating - a doctor recommended she rest for at least a couple of days, she slept 3 days. As always, from @Timberwolf7.62 Queen of the Murder Scene In Queen of the Murder Scene, the evil side taunts the Queen (“You don’t deserve the throne. The crown is mine”). She is proud of how evil she is and boastful about it. But the Queen may have something to say about that in the next song, P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. (Korosu is Japanese for “kill”). However, since the Queen has multiple personalities and is psychotic, it is easy to see that the Grim Reaper is simply a manifestation of either the evil side or of some other personality inside her, and that she commits suicide. QOTMS: The passion, feeling and energy of The Warning's rock can be seen in these songs from the QOTMS conceptual album, an energetic voice from Dany and a great performance when interpreting the songs, excellent solos and good messages and Pau's voice in The sad and pleading End and what bass lines by the talented Ale, without a doubt this is the best current rock trio
Hey, Dashy and Dad! Dany's black guitar is a Manson M-series. I think it is an MA-2s, but not sure the exact model. Ale's Black bass is a Spector Euro 4-LX Rachel Bolen signature model. Her white bass is a Spector Euro 4-LX. As others have said, they were gifted to her by Thomas Illgen. He is the one playing bass on Hunter in The Cave. Ale was singing because Dany was sick and her voice was gone. Oh NO! As good as these acoustic sessions are, you need to do The End from Lunario! You are missing out on all of Dany's sublime guitar work and solo along with Pau's drumming. BTW, that is an acoustic bass that Ale is playing. They did a set of acoustic versions of a handful of songs from Queen of the Murder Scene and they were done in this hotel conference room that had good acoustics, and of course shiny shelves. LOL My vote is for XXI Century Blood next.
In the cave video where Thomas played the bass, Dany was not sick. She (and the fans who were present) talked Ale into singing lead on "Hunter", because otherwise she wouldn't have had anything to do. In the same session, Pau sang lead on Copper Bullets (a song from XXI Century Blood) when Matthew Fraser took over the drum kit
@@alexj9603 Ah, yes. You are right. I just went and looked at another from there. Wasn't there a day at the cave when Dany's voice was shot? I seem to remember one
I first heard The Warning a few months ago when I watched a reaction video for the Enter Sandman cover they did with Alessia Cara, they are what I like in a hard rocking band and they are loved by all of their fans. It's hard to believe they are all so young, I've seen some of their early music videos where Ale's bass is almost as big as her (and now the youngest sister is a giant) 🎸😄
@@DashyAndDadReacts I watched a video recently where I think they were doing a sound check and Dany stood by Ale's microphone and it was above her mouth. Ale has said in interviews when she started practising bass her mum had to carry it because it was too heavy 😄
Nice reactions... I'm not sure but I think the guy is from Australia, he is the one that gifted Ale´s two Spector basses previous the one she's using now. She felt in love with the sound.
Happy 100th The Warningversary! Harley Quinn reacting to the QOTMS album seems very appropriate lol! You wouldn't hear any complaints from me if you reacted to another live performance of The End, this album is the best concept album ever made imo. Matthew Fraser is a famous member of The Warning Army from England and he's been to several shows over the years and he filled in for Pau on the drums in a performance of Copper Bullets off the XXI Century Blood album, in The Warning Cave as well. Pau sang the lead vocals during that particular performance. On his TH-cam channel he posts other covers he's done of The Warning's original music.
@@DashyAndDadReacts I should probably clarify that Matthew Fraser is not the guy playing bass in The Warning Cave, he's the fan that uploaded the video
Congratulations on your 100th guys. How about when the Warning come to England you bring a mug with you and ask them to put it in one of there video's.
Dany's guitar is a Rick Toone Spearfish and Ale is playing a Spector bass (I can't remember the model). Ale forgot the lyrics to Hunter, that's why Dany was looking at Ale and helping her. Keep rocking folks!!! \m/
Congrats on 100, time to get to work on the next 100, then soon you'll hit 1000. QOTMS sees the Queen finally in control, she sits upon her throne reveling in her triumph over the good side and plotting even more mayhem. In Psychotic, the Queen has lost it completely, pursued possibly by authorities she is on a killing spree and is threaten those pursuing her to dare to try and stop her, but if they do she's ready for them. Originally the story was going to be a lot more violent and bloody, with many bodies in her wake, this song still hints that the original storyline is still there and is possibly taking place. In Hunter we see a 3rd character enter the story, The Grim Reaper and he was his throne back. Now this could be the real Grim Reaper or it could be yet another manifestation of a 3 rd personality within the Queens mind, either is possible. Whatever the case, he delivers a mortal blow to the Queen, who in the final song The End (Stars always seem to fade) lays dying, she has no regrets over what she has done because she believes she did it all out of and for love. A truly masterful and epic story told with some of the best music to ever grace a concept album. So glad you enjoyed your journey through QOTMS. There are many more songs for you to explore, like the albums XXI Century Blood, and Error as well as many cover songs they did before going on to write their own music.
If you shiny people do 21st Century Blood you might try finding each song live from the Dakota Bar. There is no need to do these songs in order. You should be able to call those up quite easily. I kept thinking when I went back to their earliest material I would inevitably run into songs that sounded less developed simply due to their age. This didn’t happen, they are all great songs. It’s been said over and over but it’s true: they just don’t write bad songs, even from the beginning. Thanks so much.
I second this recommendation; The Dakota Bar performance is a good place for the XXI Century Blood live reactions. However, the title track has a very good music video which I recommend if you need to pick only one.
Yes, that is an acoustic bass. This complete acoustic session is brillliant, but on The End I do miss the piano intro and Dany's guitar solo. I think you should check that from Lunario as well.
I can't praise them too much, there as so good, even in the acoustic version. Unfortunately the little beautiful guitar-solo is missing here, but nevertheless. Thanks for your nice reaction and your appreciation of the girls and their music.
I've been wondering...on the second stanza, are they playing a backing track with one of them speaking the lyrics while Dani sings them, or is it Pau speaking the words live?
To answer the both of you ITS PAU, she always whisper the Lyrics on her mic and sometimes if you have very good Audio settings you could hear her as in QOTMS performed in a metal/hard rock festival in 2017/2018 if I'm not mistaken...

Deffo thanks Jluis
Dany has mastered the art of adding the emotions of desperation to the lyrics of Hunter.

Congrats! Always entertaining to watch you two.
Thanks so much!
There's another video of Ale singing Hunter.th-cam.com/video/kdA9HatBPc8/w-d-xo.html
Thankies for sharing love 🥰
Ale only sings when Dany isn't feeling well, and she will only sing two songs.
aww bless
Thanks Tom
In the cave video where Thomas played the bass, Dany was not sick. She (and the fans who were present) talked Ale into singing lead on "Hunter", because otherwise she wouldn't have had anything to do. In the same session, Pau sang lead on Copper Bullets (a song from XXI Century Blood) when Matthew Fraser took over the drum kit
@@alexj9603 🖤🤘🖤
@@alexj9603 Ah, yes. You are right. I just went and looked at another from there. Wasn't there a day at the cave when Dany's voice was shot? I seem to remember one
@@krash66 I think I faintly remember something like that. But I can't pinpoint which session it was.

She deffo grew =p literally XD
@@DashyAndDadReacts I watched a video recently where I think they were doing a sound check and Dany stood by Ale's microphone and it was above her mouth. Ale has said in interviews when she started practising bass her mum had to carry it because it was too heavy 😄
@@dragonmac1234 aww bless , also side note love your pink Floyd profile pic 🖤🎸🖤
Nice reactions... I'm not sure but I think the guy is from Australia, he is the one that gifted Ale´s two Spector basses previous the one she's using now. She felt in love with the sound.
apparently his English but thanks Francisco
@@DashyAndDadReacts ups, sorry! I know they have some fans from Australia and don´t know why I thought he was one of them.
@@francisconavarro669 no worries haha d
Happy 100th The Warningversary! Harley Quinn reacting to the QOTMS album seems very appropriate lol! You wouldn't hear any complaints from me if you reacted to another live performance of The End, this album is the best concept album ever made imo. Matthew Fraser is a famous member of The Warning Army from England and he's been to several shows over the years and he filled in for Pau on the drums in a performance of Copper Bullets off the XXI Century Blood album, in The Warning Cave as well. Pau sang the lead vocals during that particular performance. On his TH-cam channel he posts other covers he's done of The Warning's original music.
haha thanks Kirk!
@@DashyAndDadReacts I should probably clarify that Matthew Fraser is not the guy playing bass in The Warning Cave, he's the fan that uploaded the video
@@Captain_Kirk116 yeah thought so haha thanks Kirk XD
Congratulations on your 100th guys. How about when the Warning come to England you bring a mug with you and ask them to put it in one of there video's.
Haha that’ll be fun 🤩🥰 Thankies Andy
What better way to celebrate your 100th than chapter 4 of QOTMS. Congrats. I think Dashy's wig might have been a little tight, though :-p
Haha thanks Larry 🖤🤩
you should listen "The End" of rock version!!! It is great too! Great reactions! Ty for share!
Thanks Marco
Dany's guitar is a Rick Toone Spearfish and Ale is playing a Spector bass (I can't remember the model). Ale forgot the lyrics to Hunter, that's why Dany was looking at Ale and helping her. Keep rocking folks!!! \m/
Rock on! 🖤🤘🖤
Thanks so much! Amaranthine haha deffo 100 more to go =p
I told you that P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. was a Funny Punkish cheerleading song!
Whoop whoop 🙌🖤
The screaming is Dany. Dany IS the Murder Queen.
Muahah😈🥰
Easily one of their best - would love to see Metallica cover this
Definitely 🥰
@@abjbusti8586 good point

Sorry typo Thankies* 😹
Yes, that is an acoustic bass. This complete acoustic session is brillliant, but on The End I do miss the piano intro and Dany's guitar solo. I think you should check that from Lunario as well.
Thanks Ronald we are on the case
Coming very soon 🤘🥰🔥
9/10 just for the crazy hair
hehe =p
I can't praise them too much, there as so good, even in the acoustic version. Unfortunately the little beautiful guitar-solo is missing here, but nevertheless. Thanks for your nice reaction and your appreciation of the girls and their music.
Thankies Detlev 🖤
I've been wondering...on the second stanza, are they playing a backing track with one of them speaking the lyrics while Dani sings them, or is it Pau speaking the words live?
good Question hmm XD
To answer the both of you ITS PAU, she always whisper the Lyrics on her mic and sometimes if you have very good Audio settings you could hear her as in QOTMS performed in a metal/hard rock festival in 2017/2018 if I'm not mistaken...
@@ivanguerrero7934 - Muchas Gracias for that info!🤘👌👍
@@genboyer they use backing tracks but those are guitars or piano if needed and played/recorded by themselves doing so
@@ivanguerrero7934 - Mahalo Ivan, I knew about piano and guitar tracks, just not that whispered lyrics by Pau!

Ale sang Hunter live a few days ago.

You should react to Ale singing River Soul.

OK, first of all let me say THX for your reactions, they are always fun to watch. Because you both are such a perfect dad-daughter couple I will make an exception and tell you a secret: The future of Rock & Metal is female and it lies (mostly) in Japan. Here is the evidence:
Best Musicians/Bands you never heard of:
- "The Warning" - Classic Rock (All Female) - You already know them
- "Band-Maid" - Hard Rock (All Female) - Try "Onset" and/or "Influencer"
- "Lovebites" - Heavy Metal (All Female) - Try "Swan Song inc. Chopin Intro" and/or "Raise Some Hell"
- "Nemophila" - Rock/Metal (All Female) - Try "Revive" and/or "Dissension
- "Asterism" - Prog Metal (Female Fronted) - Try "Unravel" and/or "Scuttle Buttin'"
- "Angelina Jordan" - Best Female Jazz/Soul Singer Alive - You already know her.
- "Beth Hart" - Best Female Blues Singer - Try "Am I The One (Live Paradiso)" or "I'll Take Care Of You" (w. Joe Bonamassa)
Have Fun!
Haha thanks EBM we’ve done one song already from lovebites and many more amazing music to come 🖤🖤🖤

*IN MY OPINION!!*
Of all the songs off of the *QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE* The Warning played live at *LUNARIO CDMX.* For some gosh awful stupid reason you *DIDN'T PLAY IT.* You should of played *"The End (Stars Seem to Fade)* at Lunario because it's the best song they played that night.
*Why??*
Your viewers who stayed for your whole video *TOTALLY MISSED YOUR FIRST REACTION* watching Ale setting the mood of the song *"The End (Stars Seems to Fade)* on the keyboards. Yes. *KEYBOARDS.* And both of you deprived your viewers from seeing that. Then a beautiful Dany guitar solo towards the end of the song. Something that Dany has not mastered, and probably won't, on a acoustic guitar.
Oh. The Warning still owes two shows in London that two blokes contribute funds for The Warning's North American Tour 2020 & 3rd album Kickstarter campaign of 2019. There's signs by fans asking questions to Dany about a European Tour in 2023. Dany, wink wink, won't reveal no 2023 tour dates until 2022 tour is over in Dec. They would love to go Europe. Also they already toured North America. Sooooooooo?? Then dad can record the concert while Dashy is jumping up & down holding on to her wig. Then I'll flying over from America. Find your dad in London. And give a rant or two about putting the camera down & enjoying The Warning live. Like I did last April (2022) when I saw The Warning live.
haha thanks Kevin rock on!
They calculated the cost for the band to fly over to London and play a gig and I think it was about 50 of us who paid £300/each to make that happen.
