You will see how Pablo honed a great kid with potential to someone who can sing a beautiful masterpiece.. :-) the song was already beautiful but with Pablo's arrangement and coaching of Nevin, it brought tears to my eyes..
Merry Christmas Richard & Johnny!!! ❤ Love your channel. Thank you for loving the Filipino artists. Love SB19. New found fan. Those boys are so talented. Pablo is a genius. ❤
34:46 oh my gosh! That is sooo genius! You're referring to this right?: Di ko ___ main ___ tindi ___ han___ tinik sa ___ king la ___ lamunan Pano__ nga ba __ maibsan___ bigat na ___aking nararamdaman I never realized why that felt so emotional but yeah! I get it now. He's demonstrating thru music how it feels like to be in a state of panic, having a hard time breathing 😢😢
Hi guys, thanks for reacting to Pablo!! Yes it’s true he wrote Drowning In The Water when he was 14. Us fans heard it and let bugging him to release it so he did. He has written 98% of SB19s music, even commercials. Love him!!
Hello Richard and Johnny!!! 🥳🥳🥳 even if your live reactions will be 3 hrs long ill never get bored! 😂 always fun and full of learnings ❤ still hoping for a johnny and pablo collab! 🙏
Hi Richard and Johnny! Your in depth analysis are knowledgeable and amusing, am begining learn more about music, about singing. This, personally, i believe, separates you from the others, with due respect to them. I wish you could also feature some of the past filipino singing stars. Some of whom became the idols/mentors of our present crop of singing stars. Thank you very much for your appreciation of the Filipino talents. More power and God Bless ❤
Pablo's songs are all good. He can make a song about basketball (Butata) sound captivating. I'm a Ken bias, who by the way is equally talented as Pablo, but it is hard not to admire Pablo. SB19 is such a great group. Every member is talented in every way. Thank you for continuing to delve into Filipino music. ❤❤❤ Happy holidays to both of you.
Was pretty bummed that Micha didn’t win the poll haha I do hope you guys get to check it out another time. Micha and Wala are two of the tracks that imo showcase that edge in Pablo’s voice the most, and I think are quite representative of what Pablo’s solo music is about. I think you’d like Tambol, too; Micha and Tambol are pretty out there in terms of composition so I think you guys would enjoy that aspect as well. But thanks so much for checking out more of Pablo’s music! I thoroughly enjoyed hearing your insights. 😊
When or if you will be reacting to Pablo's solos again, please check out the songs from his second album LAON . These are more upbeat and lighthearted, the polar opposite of the first album's anguish and grief. TAMBOL, MICHA OR BUTATA are hyped up. One word I'd use to describe TAMBOL is esoteric. 😊 Meanwhile, NEUMUN and DON'T CARE have an early 2000s vibe
Yes, Please 🙏 can't wait for your reaction to TAMBOL the most! 🫣🤩 And I hope that right after, you do check 'the behind the song' video like you did with your RV with The Boy Who Cried Wolf 😊 I can't pick my fave between TAMBOL and MICHA. You have to check that out Richard and Johnny ❤️
@@ii-ll7hoIMO, artists like Johnny and Richard would appreciate MICHA for its artistry more than DITW. It seems like most of those who voted in the poll prefer pop songs, forgetting that these two have a wider range of appreciation. Besides, MICHA shows Pablo's songwriting artistry and diversity more than DITW. Same for his music production.
@@ii-ll7ho I read another comment in this section suggesting some songs from the LAON album and Richard / Johnny replied 'we'll listen to all!'. I don't know if I misheard it but during one of their LS, they said that they'd be doing a reaction video to both albums but before that, they'd be doing a feature single first. So, if I heard it right, this is the feature single and the double album review will come later, like next year. Excited for this, if ever!
Hi Sir Richard/Sir Johnny, I hope you could insert/react to SB19 - Merry Munchkins"... Looking forward for it. Thanks in advance & Merry Christmas 🎁🎄☦️
Please react also to Pablo's live performance in VIBE Manila AKON Tour and his collab performance with EZ Mil plus his Kaleidoscope performance with Flow G, Gloc-9 and EZ Mil.
Just wanted to add some info on SB 19. Their name SB19 accounts for “Sound Break 19”. They were initially under ShowBT, hence “SB” and the first pinoy idol group in the company. It was a collaboration between South Korea and Phillipines due to which 19 in SB19 derived from the country codes of South Korea (+82) and the Phillipines (+63) which sums up to (6+3+8+2) = 19.
The infectious smiles and giggles, jovial banter, witty remarks, display of bromanship?😂 constant reminder to be kind, occasional technical difficulties, the Thronly gang playing in the chat,😁 free vocal analyses, and the beautiful music in the background are all the reasons (and maybe some more) I keep coming back!! Love the positivity! We love Throga! Let's protect the Throga channel! ❤❤
"All By Myself" was written by singer-songwriter Eric Carmen. When it was released in 1975, it was one of those beautiful songs that I listened to in the 1970s/1980s, the best decades in music for me. I couldn't have imagined that 49 years after, it would still be this popular today. Johnny mentioned about the "The Association". A little trivia here. Do you know that a Filipino was a member of that pop band? He was Larry Ramos Jr. He was raised in Hawaii. He became the lead guitarist and lead vocals of that group. He joined that band in 1967. He was part of lead vocals in their hit songs "Windy" and "Never My Love". But before that, he was a member of "New Christy Minstrels". In 1963, that group won a grammy award for "Best Performance by a Chorus". As result, Larry Ramos Jr. became the first Asian-American to win that award.
I hope you get the time to watch the hottest Filipino Singer who just won the Voice US season 26 - Sofronio Vasquez! His journey in the show was really an amazing worth reviewing.

Such an interesting selection, you guys. The CompanY's release version of "Everlasting Love" back in the day was actually faster than the performance at Ryan Cayabyab's iconic program (him on the piano) in 1991-more punchy than the lounge-y version you reacted to. I would say, though, that this episode could be considered a precursor to MTV's "unplugged" versions of OPM/Filipino performances at the time ( _Ryan Ryan…_ debuted in 1988; MTV Unplugged, which was also aired in the Philippine, was launched in 1989. The CompanY commercially debuted much earlier: 1985). ps. (Amused at the Lawrence Welk-ian reference lol) BTW, hope you could consider Charice in your Christmas episode, even just as a token to vocal performance. You could look up (or line up) any of these performances: • an old (likely the only available quality) of "First Noel" [2008; 16yo at the time for ABS-CBN; MarleJen's upload is at least stereo] • "Grown Up Christmas List" at the Rockefeller Center with David Foster [NBC] • "Christmas Song" CBS Second Cup Café [in studio, 1991 or 1992] • "Jingle Bell Rock + Grown Up Christmas List" at The Grove (CA), Nov 2010 [NBC] Merry Christmas!
