@@Jeff-cr6ur Soft sand with grass patches and urchins. You need water shoes. Past the overwater suites the bottom gets much nicer, but no bars or loungers out there yet (they are putting in a beaches there in a few years)
I really love watching Harr Travel videos. Michael is perfect at explaining what you will experience. He's too the point and offers excellent information about the resort and room categories. He should do this for all resorts. LOL... I appreciate his opinions.
This is the best video I've ever seen by a travel agency. We love this resort. We've been visiting this resort since 2011 when it was Whitehouse. We are heading back this fall. Haven't been since it was changed to South Coast. Great video, audio, editing and the presenter is entertaining and very knowledgeable about the resort.
On average its about 1.5 hrs. The road is rough in sections. I'm replying to this at the Montego airport now September 2024. I was told today that they have a new road about 40% completed that will make the trip faster. They did not know what the name of the road will be.
Thank you for another fantastic video! Love the upgrades Sandals has made at South Coast. It's been about 5 years since I was there (when it was still Whitehouse) and they have done an amazing job. It is also great that they have added additional entertainment but still have the option for a laidback experience. My favorite restaurant is Giuseppe's and had the best shrimp ravioli. The swim-up rooms and the entire Dutch Village look amazing. Thank you again for such a great video and for showing all the wonderful improvements to an already beautiful resort!

We stayed at Sandals St Lucia. Great venue, pricey, awesome-service. We missed enjoying local fresh fish and Caribbean food. Sandals imports their food so that menus are standardized. We were off resort often to experience local culture that was somehow missing from Sandals formula. Views from cliff top accommodation at your own private pool saw the busy port of Castries with cruise ships sailing most evenings, pre pandemic. Tip: fly to Castries George Charles from Barbados or Antigua, you arrive a very short distance away instead of long transport from the Hewenorra international.
Awesome content! I can’t wait to finally get into a sandals -each time I try to book them -they are full. It may be that I’m trying water bungalows or swim ups that require advance bookings & nurses rarely know our vacation days far in advance. Anyway, Great job kind Sir!

Coming to South Coast in November for my daughter and future son-in-law's wedding. We are so excited and now I have a visual of the resort. I didn't realize all the restaurants are in one place. I've read a lot of positive reviews. This video was very interesting!
