realMyst Masterpiece edition (the 2014 version) also had dual controls for people who wanted point-and-click or first person navigation, so I imagine this will be like that
I’m fortunate enough to not experience motion sickness when I’m playing free range video games normally, but MID even made me sick to my stomach. Glad that it seems they’re getting rid of that and I can’t wait to play it both ways!!
As someone who doesnt do a ton of gaming, point and click to me just feels more like a Nancy Drew game and its a style that I feel more comfortable with. I had to get used to other games having more free range motion and it can make me feel a little sick too so its good to hear I'm not the only one.
Absolutely playing in both modes! So excited to explore these environments!!!

Good to know!! I never got into the myst series but I know the fandoms overlap a bit. Thanks for letting me know.

Totally fair! I think point and click is part of the charm of the older games too.
@@GoobaandJetpack it's actually great to have both options though, and it might bring more gamers into the series 🙂
Am I greedy if I want to do it with both? 😅
Nope! I hope to play both ways an infinite number of times 😅
I wish we could comment with gifs bc you know which ones I’d choose for wanting “both”! 😅
I’m just excited to see what the gameplay look like! I don’t usually get sick playing games that can move really fast unless I’m under the weather 😄
Christmas at Donner Pass did have the option for point and click or 3d roaming controls. I’m assuming it’s similar to what they had at that game.
Ooo I’ll have to check that out!
I also cant play games that movie too fast or have super sensitive movements im like 🤢🤢🤢🤢
