Surface Blending Text - Affinity Photo Tutorial

  • Here's a quick and easy way to blend your text onto a surface so that it takes on the texture and allows the background to show through to create some more realism.
    In this tutorial, we're using perspective tools, displace filters, blurs and blending options to create our finished image.

      Sorry that I didn’t explain the reason. It seems that if you don’t rasterize and then try to apply a live filter, it negates something up the chain. I found that my blending options would “disappear” when applying the guassian blur as a live filter. Had to go back and try it several different ways until it finally worked this way. Hope that helps!

      @@tonycarretti2872 Thanks for taking the time to explain it. This was my first time using the blending option boxes. I like how I was able to change the transparency of the text compare to the overlay which doesn't give me any opacity control. Looking forward to the next one!
