I had the exact same experience at a dealer in Baltimore back in 2006 when I bought my first bike. My wife and I went to the dealer and walked around for about 30 minutes literally looking at each bike on the floor and no one ever acknowledged us. A week later we went back to the same place again and got the same treatment. We left there and went to a dealer in a rural area about 25 miles away and 2 hours later we had bought our first bike. I'm a 65 year old gray beard and had the same experience at the H-D dealer in central Maine. I walked around the new bikes on my way to the parts counter. Passed by a couple sales people chatting about nothing as I walked by them. To their credit, they asked if I needed help as I was leaving with my oil filter and 50wt oil in my arms
@@DNiddy What exactly have you done to boost the Harley Brand Awareness!? Ya he's only one guy, my point being he's contributes far more than the average consumer to Harley Davidson that you or I, lest they can do is know who he is and acknowledge him as a customer and brand ambassador......little man!!
Several years ago I walked into a Harley dealership in Minnesota. I'm 5'4" tall. Not 1 salesperson asked if i needed assistance. I walked around all the bikes for 30 minutes, no assistance. I left and went to a Harley dealership just outside the metro area. As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help. I bought a bike in 45 minutes.
As someone born in London U.K. in the late fifties, I remember for many years the only Harley dealer was Warrs of Fulham, London. Eventually they moved from their tiny shop to a massive new place around the corner. I’ve never been into Harleys, I’ve ridden several and only 3 left a positive impression on me. They were 2 Buells and a rare XR1000 from ‘83. Having said that, over the years I went to mooch around both shops. I met Fred Warr before they ever became big time and he was cool. I always got a good reception from him. The last time I went was to take one of the manager’s Buells out on a wet mid week day in the pouring rain. I’d met him at the January bike show in North London. He gave me the keys to his own hopped up Buell and told me to have fun. What a ride! Racing a fully specked 2 stroke Suzuki RGV 250 in the torrential rain all the way up Trinity Road from the dealer, both slipping and sliding as we thrashed off from the lights remains fresh in my memory over 20 years later. Definitely NOT usual Harley in both dealer treatment and the way Harleys ride!
Walked into the dealership in Beaumont, Texas an hour before closing. No help, one even said it was too late to wait on any more people. Bought one over the phone at another dealership in Wisconsin. Shipped it to me.
@@leebrewer7394 There are likely some "Trade Market Area" clauses which may explain that. It is fairly common with many manufacturer's. Also, Harley doesn't sell any bikes to. They sell them to Dealerships and they are the ones who determine how aggressive they would market in someone else's area.

Adam we both know we do not see eye to eye on darleys these days and that dealership is a horrible example of motorcycle rider/dealers. I do apologize Brother. I grew up in and around a motorcycle shop with a bell on the front counter and the guys would come out to help you after the ding. My cousin helped take the 65 Panhead out of it's crate when he bought it prior to going to Vietnam for his first tour- that's the Harley Davidson I grew up on! Those men welcomed me into the shop and taught me just as much as they sent me for parts and lunches. Yes, America has changed but caring for customers is everything that builds you and your business. Unfortunately yuppies do not actually share the riders mentality and heart! Great seeing you, Scott and Miss Charly enjoying warm weather in Florida and being safe. I will add my pray for folks who should be in the service and care business! With Love and Respect, You all are in my prayers Hoka Hey

All you people are wrong. Real HD riders don't need or want to be followed around and are not fragile that no one greeted me. We have a mouth and if we need service we ask. HD dealership are respecting us by not bothering us. Next time bring your MaMa
Very unusual for a Veraka store. We were trained to great every customer within 30 seconds of walking in to the store. And Rockstar is one of the flagship stores. Something isn't right.
Went to my dealership today for the chili cookoff, RG Harley in WV. Great dealership. Family friendly, always attentive, but not pushy. We bought 2 bikes from them last fall, and we make at least 1 trip a month to buy my son clothes and bike stuff for the wife and I. I guess they arent all that good, but thankfully my dealership is a pretty neat place to go.
I had the same happen to me at 2 dealerships near me. The first one I went to which is about 4 hours away we’re so nice and welcoming. But in the end I went and got a Triumph and fell in love with the dealership. They are good to me.
I feel your pain, that’s the same treatment I received at Indian here in Vegas, that’s why I went to Harley Davidson and had such an amazing experience, I purchased my first bike that day. Absolutely unacceptable when you’re the only customer in the shop.
Thats heaven ! A dealership that sales doesn’t hang on ya. Lucky you. If you told them you wanted to buy something theyd help you. That’s the way it should be.
I used to run BMW, KTM, Victory & Kawasaki dealerships here in the UK. We don't have dealerships on the size & scale you guys in the US do, but sadly the indifference you experienced is commonplace here too. But not on my watch! We'd always meet & greet without being pushy, offer a coffee or a test-ride. We're all bikers - buying a bike is a far more social experience than buying a car or a truck. Or at least it should be...
Had interaction with steel city HD in Pittsburgh this week first online and then in person. Online they replied to me within a day, had my parts, were friendly. In person when I went in to grab my parts, a different guy helped me, he was friendly and helpful. Sales people there were also friendly, greeted me. I guess some dealers are better than others. I left there feeling good about them.
My wife and I had the same thing happen at a Harley dealer a few years back. We were climbing on the bikes and checking them out and everything even found one we really liked. But nobody ever came over and said a word. Youd think considering they were really slow that day and we were getting on the bikes that at least one person wouldve said something. Anyways we bailed from that place and checked out another dealer and ended up buying a bike from them. Had help there in under 5 minutes.
I had the same experience at a Toyota dealership a couple years ago. I walked the entire lot two times. Not one single person, came up to ask if I needed help or if I was interested in anything. After leaving the site, I went straight to Chevy dealer and bought a new Silverado pickup. Service is everything!
That's the same experience I've had in many Harley-Davidson dealerships in multiple states. Actually it's better than most of them were. I won't even waste my time going into a Harley-Davidson dealership anymore. I build my own Harleys and buy my parts online or from independent shops.

While on vacation I stopped at 3 BMW dealers. I was also ignored at the 2nd one so I left. I then stopped at my current dealer and was greated by the owner and his wife. One of the techs also answered questions that I had. I have since bought "9" new motorcycles from them. Between the bikes and all the services I've had, what a major mistake the one dealer made. By the way, they no longer exist.!! 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
I was in Hawkeye HD in Iowa on the way to Sturgis it was half hour before closing bought my TShirt, went outside and my buddies rear was flat .Now it was past closing and the mechanics were leaving out the back door. I explained our problem they reopened sold us a tube and tire then mounted it.,and since it was a new tire they mailed it back to our Ohio dealership No charge. They didn't even charge us labor since they were off the clock. The only problem I ever had was 09 in MB during Trailer week
It might be time for HD Corporate to do some customer training since their products are being sold in these dealerships. I wouldn't even buy a T-shirt from a dealership like this. Unbelievable!!!
So, just the other day (maybe a week ago), I went by a well known dealership (known nationwide) in the area which I live. I walked into the main showroom, looked at bikes, walked around the motorclothes area, walked through the parts area, checked on some prices on the parts, walked around to their used bike showroom, walked all through that and walked out without A SINGLE person talking to me. There were workers in there. They talked to each other. They just didn’t talk to me. I doubt I’ll ever go back. It’s a shame. I buy quite a few bikes (for one guy). Plus, I have lots of friends who buy bikes. Oh well. I wonder how much that happens before they go out of business.
There's a big-chain hardware store (rimes with lace) in our city that's staffed with mostly retirees, and there's always 2 or 3 of them stationed near the front of the store waiting to assist customers as soon as they walk thru the doors. I'll shop there every time, even though there are stores much closer to where I live.
Unfortunately that's kind of the norm, at least from my experience. Last time I was at Rockstar/Six Bends I asked to see your bike, which was parked in the back service area. I was a bit suprised that the guy took me back there. Took some pics with your bike, it was a cool experience.
That's the way they treat me all the time, that's why I bought my Harley from the Honda dealer. Our dealer here wanted more for a used Fatboy than Harley lists them for new on their website. They only dealer that has come out out and talked to me was the one in Santa Fe.
The same thing happened to me. I was the only person in the shop. I stayed for 10 mins and walked out. Not to enter, ever again. No more new Harley’s for me.
Same thing happened to me in myrtle Beach. Made my mind up to buy cvo roadglide, went there spent about 45 minutes looking around and no one ever acknowledged me. Guess they didn't want me to get it so I went back to my vehicle and left. Never went back there to buy anything since

Harley Davidson dealerships are being taken over by car dealers and they’ve lost their culture, lost their passion. Bring back the family owned dealerships.
I had two kinds of experiences at two HD dealers. I had walked into Yankee Harley in CT with two of my kids. They were very friendly, welcoming and happy to help. I went to DC Harley for service on my Sportster, and two salesmen were quick to shit on my 2004 to try to push a sale for a bagger.
Been thinking all along that HD has some sales challenges. The talk is always about the bikes. There’s nothing wrong with the bikes. And that’s not the only dealer ‘cold shouldering’
You guys Rock , I have been riding Harleys for more tha 50 years , and I own 4 different model Motorcycles in which two of them are over 50 years old in show condition , I had the same experience as you , going into these Harley dealerships and get that no so nice feeling . Way to go Rockstar you just got blasted by social media. What the hell Adam this dealership sponsored you welcome home that’s why I took my business to Berts
I went in to a Harley dealership in 2004. I had planned to buy a brand new Ultra. No body bothered to even notice me for 45 minutes as I stood by and also sat on it. I walked back to an office to tell them I had planned to buy,but was now leaving. They swamped me all the way to the door. I went elseware and made my purchase.

I walked into a locally "well respected" dealer with my wife to put money on a 2017 FXDLS. Not one person spoke to me, probably because of the car we pulled up in, and I was in business casual clothes. Actually walked the showroom twice, looked on their site and had decided on the bike before I even went in. Drove a bit to a dealer that has now shut down and went back to just a Honda dealership...and was given a warm Harley welcome. The "well respected" dealer, told me they wouldn't fix my bike under warranty due to an aftermarket tune that was on the bike when I bought it. Called another Harley shop and they hooked me up with a new battery, and I found out I had to keep the bike tendered all the time because of the tune and the 110 performance motor not having enough juice to turn it over. Haven't been back to the old shitter in Wabash since. They do put on concerts every summer, but it's too much of an "ole boys club" mentality there and they aren't getting a cent since not honoring a warranty, and threatening to void my warranty on a bike I hadn't changed since I bought it.

I went to the Morgan Hill CA Harley, no wonder they have so many 2023 CVOs sitting around. The sales dude who looked like he just escaped from San Quentin, did not say or word, or get off his phone. I bought a CVO at another dealer. Morgan Hill Harley sucked.
I rode to the Harley Dealer in Beaumont Tx last week. The person at the desk near the door said welcome when I walked in. I looked around at all the bikes while I was there. Much respect to you Sir. Love what you do for the Vets and people in general. Keep up the great work. Iceman. American Legion Rider.
I’m not a Harley guy I ride an Indian Roadmaster but I love how you break it all down about the good Harley’s and the not so good. Thanks. I’m now a fan
Thanks for tuning in 👊🏼 hopefully you subscribed
Indian tries harder for sure.
Your one of the most recognized persons of motorcycle Vlogs WTF? That's crazy?
They don't give af who you are. They just want to rip you off
Didn’t expect to be recognized for that… but kind of did expect a greeting
Perhaps they get the same vibe I have about You..A Big A- Hole
pretty stupid of them for sure , tf happend to ''the lifestyle''
The same happened to me in Sonoma County twice, I was looking for a new bike, but left with no contact with anyone. I went to the Triumph dealer , they were great. I purchased a new 1200 Scrambler and will never consider a Harley. I now own two Triumphs.
"These are last years models still on the floor" says it all.
I have trying to deal on a left over 2022 for more than a year. Huge "incentives" from the MOCO, but somehow the OTD is about the same as it was in 2022?
If you go to a dealership and they have only the newest models out take a picture and send it to me cuz I promise that doesn't exist... don't say ignorant things on the internet 😂
@@huckleberry2534 So please tell me how my statement is ignorant.
Because every dealership everywhere still has last years models still on the floor and even models from 2 or 3 years ago even... it's called overstock and it takes a while to sell... so your comment was ignorant😂
@@huckleberry2534 I think that you very confused with your terminology there buddy.

Unbelievable I cannot believe a single person did not say hello or ask if you needed help. You should never walk into a Harley Davidson dealership and have nobody pay attention to you. Such a bad example for the brand.
I was treated that way at a HD store. I bought a Gold wing and rode it for six solid years. That same dealership was sold and bought. The idiot mentality remained. Also a buddy that was with me bought his HD else were
Normal at more than not!
I had this experience at a Harley dealership in Greensboro NC. Later that day I bought a BMW RT.
Everyone has bad days, but if it was my store I would want to know. I’d definitely go back I just hope some team members can grow from shedding a light on how it makes us riders feel.
Buy you a Gold Wing Adam.Miles and smiles 😎
I'm a 65 year old gray beard and had the same experience at the H-D dealer in central Maine. I walked around the new bikes on my way to the parts counter. Passed by a couple sales people chatting about nothing as I walked by them. To their credit, they asked if I needed help as I was leaving with my oil filter and 50wt oil in my arms
let me guess, Hermon?? I haven't been there yet but know I need to see what happens lol
I love the fact that you're actually putting miles on that classic car! 😎🤘

The last Dealership I was in was Mississippi Gulf Coast HD and the experience was great! very friendly staff!
I’ve spent many hours walking around HD stores in NZ and AUS and have only once had anyone come over and talk to me. It’s why I ride an Indian.
how does Adam Sandoval walk through a showroom without the red carpet!!? Brutal
A simple greeting would suffice 🤷🏼♂️
He is no better than anyone else little man. Puts his pants on the same way the rest of us do.
HD gives no Fs about random YT channels helping them out. They don't believe they need any help
The same way a veteran can buy a bike from Harley, and Harley fucks the veteran, that's how.
That's exactly the experience I want. I'll reach out to someone if I want/need more info on something.
Charlie looks great in the Trans am. Charlie is getting so big now! I always look for your videos!
She really is. Smart too!
I was there when it was Six Bends HD, and they treated me well. Must be the new owner's mentality.
Walked into the dealership in Beaumont, Texas an hour before closing. No help, one even said it was too late to wait on any more people. Bought one over the phone at another dealership in Wisconsin. Shipped it to me.
Other youtube channels say Harley does not sell if they know you are buying from out of state? Lies I guess.
Cowboy HD. My bike came from there but only through a trade from lake Charles bc I wanted vivid black and they only had denim
@@leebrewer7394 my last visit to Daytona Beach HD salesman would have sold me anything on the floor. My wife’s bike came from Thinesville Wisconsin and shipped to my house.

That was night and day difference between the first Dealership and the second one..... I know who would be getting my cash if I was buying. Charlie loves hanging out with the boys she is a sweetheart.
Looks like fun Adam boy Charlie getting big so fast. You guys are or looks all are have fun. Be safe and enjoy your trip. From New Mexico Navajo Nation

With Love and Respect, You all are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
No worries Adam. You stand tall young man. It's a norm across the country. We're all in a slump in America, when it comes to customer service. HD is not immune to what is happening across the country. You keep moving forward and KEEP BRINGING positive vibes my friend. HOSS
…much of the staff doesn’t ride
Has nothing to do with a slump. ALL bike dealers do this.
All you have to do is shout is there any f****** person working here?
@@Michael-ek8rz - Love it !
It did seem unusual and that’s why it stood out. I’ve heard such amazing things about this dealership
Never have that problem at Red Rock Harley in Vegas, and they are busy as hell, from service to sales lots of great people
Most dealers are that way. Maybe they just had a bad day
I’ve been in that dealership before and was asked if I needed help.I recall the Battle born street glide when you walked in.This was seven years ago.
How it was when I walked into the HD dealer in north Wichita KS. Absolutely insane
Same here i was ready to buy an indian pursuit cash and no one is there to greet you lol! I have bought 3 harleys since with the last two at RRHD.
No really we Harley people don't usually associate or ride with rice burners.Different mind set.
@@jameskelly9243 It certainly is - as you've amply demonstrated 😉
Had interaction with steel city HD in Pittsburgh this week first online and then in person. Online they replied to me within a day, had my parts, were friendly. In person when I went in to grab my parts, a different guy helped me, he was friendly and helpful. Sales people there were also friendly, greeted me. I guess some dealers are better than others. I left there feeling good about them.
I love that you had a great experience! I also hope to have a better experience at this dealership in the future
@Ozzypup1... UGH
I am so jelly I was not riding with you. This really awesome to watch. Charlie is really cute.
WOW no wonder the carpark empty, with service like that & with Adam Sandoval in the House
only hope anyone going though the front doors of RockStar Harley Davidson has a better experience, especially if
they are buying there first Harley, hard to believe no one could even say How you doing ,
the Transam look awesome in the lonely carpark, How COOL is Black widow what a great dealership Cheers Adam
Yea hopefully they see this and it just makes them a stinger store
Isn’t this the dealership that just bought up all the Barnys yamahas and Hondas
That Trans Am brings back memories. They were all the rage in the 80's. We had a 280z that we street raced against a the same car that you're driving with the cops right behind us. The plates on the z were "KetchMe".
Once you find a good dealership stick with em 💯
I was in Hawkeye HD in Iowa on the way to Sturgis it was half hour before closing bought my TShirt, went outside and my buddies rear was flat .Now it was past closing and the mechanics were leaving out the back door. I explained our problem they reopened sold us a tube and tire then mounted it.,and since it was a new tire they mailed it back to our Ohio dealership No charge. They didn't even charge us labor since they were off the clock. The only problem I ever had was 09 in MB during Trailer week
That’s the kind of service you remember! I love it 💯
It might be time for HD Corporate to do some customer training since their products are being sold in these dealerships. I wouldn't even buy a T-shirt from a dealership like this. Unbelievable!!!
I have had that problem with my local HD dealership, so I ended up driving 40 miles to another dealership for my last 2 streetglides
Did you need anything? I like to browse and not be bothered. If I need something I ask somebody. Smh…
The same thing happened to me. I was the only person in the shop. I stayed for 10 mins and walked out. Not to enter, ever again. No more new Harley’s for me.
That happens to us quite a bit unfortunately.
I love not being hounded. This is fantastic treatment.
Same thing happened to me in myrtle Beach. Made my mind up to buy cvo roadglide, went there spent about 45 minutes looking around and no one ever acknowledged me. Guess they didn't want me to get it so I went back to my vehicle and left. Never went back there to buy anything since
Berts in a cool place. I went when I was there for Shadetrees campout. They let me test ride a bike while I was waiting for OCC Roadhouse to open.
Right on!

Yeah been down that road before. Management with some challenges
We have experienced that at a dealership as well! Shameful!
This seems to be common for a lot of HD dealerships.
Harley Davidson dealerships are being taken over by car dealers and they’ve lost their culture, lost their passion. Bring back the family owned dealerships.
I know the feeling same thing happened to me 😂
I love your car.
Thanks!
I live in South Fla and planning a trip to the back roads of the Blue ridge and Smokies in Spring . Now that I still ride in my 70's .
Way to go Rockstar you just got blasted by social media. What the hell Adam this dealership sponsored you welcome home that’s why I took my business to Berts
It has new ownership now. But I’m sure there is a good reason
I don’t blame ya 🤷🏼♂️
That's unbelievable, ice-cycle reception. I won't be going to Rockstar Harley Davidson.
I wouldn’t write them off. Just seems like the staff just need some help
My wife and I had the same experience at MotorCity HD. The place is huge with a big inventory and not one word from anyone. Very strange. So, we left and bought our Tri Glide at Farrow HD.
Typical Harley “Service”
new subscriber … been watching off and on for awhile. Holy crap … that first dealership and a crap load of bikes. Never seen anything like that up here in central New England. We also don’t have the entertainment type style dealerships either and I can only think it is because people pretty much don’t ride up here from Thanksgiving to around April 1st.
Thanks for tuning in 👊🏼
I walked into a locally "well respected" dealer with my wife to put money on a 2017 FXDLS.
Awesome video....great job. I'm loving Charlie. Just an FYI. My brother got out of his car with his puppy inside the car and the pup decided to scoot out of the car as he was slamming the door shut as you did. He killed the dog. Please be carefull.
I’m so sorry to hear that! RIP 🐾
Probably owned by a conglomerate auto firm, not much better in southeast Wisconsin, only time I go to dealers if I buy a bike, no service or parts sales for me, they have changed🤬
Go to Uke’s. It’s independent and family owned.

I don't agree with what you're crying about. I like being left alone when I walk into a dealership. If I need help I'll ask for it..
I had the very same treatment in Kingman Arizona a few years ago. Left the dealership and never returned. I am 62 and been ridding since I was 15. Kinda crazy. Best Treatment in an HD dealerships have been Redwood Harley in Northern California and The HD dealer in Chico Ca.
You are not getting the respect you deserve. You were literally a mobile billboard for Harley Davidson.... for a long time. How many bikes did you really sell by the famous quote.... " life is short... buy the Dam motorcycle 🏍 " ???? . WAKE UP @Harley Davidson
Harley is great, it wasn’t about recognition but more about customer experience.
@adamsandoval 10-4 I was hoping not. There is no better Advertisement for Harley than the Great American Convoy.
Hey I figured it out. Next time you go into a HD Dealership make sure you wear your Lab Coat & Stethoscope, that always works.
Ahh harley sold us out and went all woke now i cant stand the brand and the same for most people i know
I worked in a Dealership here in Australia and we aways gave the customer a quick moment to look then we would approach and ask how we could help. If you didn't attended to a customer in a timely manner the boss gave you a talking to. Even though I don't work there anymore, I still to this day have the same approach.
Harley is most overrated brand of mc

George Wilson is the BEST salesman there! Great man!
Not one other person there said a word to me. I wasn’t there to buy a bike so that’s ok, but I thought that was odd. I rode up there on. Honda, maybe that’s why they didn’t want to talk to me. But truthfully I didn’t see a single bike there that I liked. I did like some of the used ones they had outside under the tent. But to me the new Harleys are ugly.
Had that happen at my local HD dealer. I traveled 100 miles north to Laidlaw's and had a great experience.
