- Titanfall 3 was not announced at the game awards, leading the Titanfall community to wonder why Respawn spent so much time the last few months fixing the game, updating the featured playlists, and including plenty of hints about the number 3 everywhere. Titanfall 3 was in the works for 10 months before the team at Respawn ultimately turned the game into Apex Legends. However, many players believe Respawn isn't done with the Titanfall franchise and that the recent updates to Titanfall 2 signal that something more for the series is coming. Unfortunately, the game awards came and went without a word about Titanfall 3. So what do you think, is it over?

I still have some hopium/copium. When Geoff introduced Zampella at the TGA and he emphasized Titanfall when mentioning the games he’s worked on, I feel that could be a hint that Geoff knows something behind the scenes that something Titanfall is cooking but obviously can’t straight up say it.
I totally agree with the “quake curse”. As someone who’s played lots of titanfall 2 and used to suck at it, it used to be really frustrating and hard to get into when trying to learn the movement and titan gameplay. Happy I stuck with it though as the game is a blast once you improve.
Absolutely this lol, only if newer players can stick a bit longer to learn the movement.
I still have some hope for a Titanfall 3. Titanfall, Gears of War, and Killzone are the 3 shooter franchises im dying to see more of. I miss their MP and want new content.

I had an Xbox growing up but always wanted to play killzone.
I want to play the original Killzones, I played some of Shadowfall and it basically felt like Titanfall's campaign, just without the parkour and Titan gameplay, really want to go back and see how the previous titles in the series faired.
@HeavyReign12 killzone is one of the most underrated shooter series and that MP was genuinely a blast until they shut the servers for Shadow Fall and Mercenary down last year. I still occasionally play 2 online with the fan servers
@StormShockTV I get why people didn't like shadow fall. But the campaign was still fun and the MP was fantastic. I'll fight anyone on the MP, it was in my regular MP rotation of games for years

They added Titanfall movement to the revenant army in the new apex mode. I think that they went back to make sure they got the movement for it right and relized they couldn't play the game... So then they fixed it so they could test that their movement felt the same/good. Then all of the eastereggs pointing towards TF3, idk like everyone.

I was around since the beginning. my parents would not let me buy it, but I've been an avid fan of titanfall 2 since release. I finally got it, and have been having a blast, but the wait times for the servers are long and the skill gap is big. I have nothing but love for this game and I will never leave. I cannot let this gem die.

I remember when i first saw gameplay of Titanfall 1, looked so cool! Made me want to play it for so long, eventually it was bought and i had so much fun
Then titanfall 2 came out, my step dad ended up buying the bundle for both it & Battlefield 1, i remember this being in 2017, and honestly that entire year was probably my most memorable year of gaming

@@BBKDRAGOON facts it definitely felt different this time due to the neglect the game had for years and just just randomly updating the game felt weird.
I'm fairly new to TF2, I mean I played the campaign ages back but never got into the multiplayer, and I'm just having a grand old time. It's hard, but it's nice for a game to be challenging again. I really hope this game gets the resurgence it deserves, it's a breath of fresh air in this horrible modern game market, hailing from a time when triple A games felt triple A.
I still expect something to come later. I don't know when but between the hints and the sudden and the very random updates coming to the game, there is simply way too much smoke for there not to be any fire.

I honestly can play Titanfall 2's multiplayer until I die, it's not perfect but it's perfect enough to be fun every day. What I want out of Titanfall 3 is just a good continuation of the Single Player Jack and BT story. If some new titans from 3 trickled down into 2's multiplayer, that would be sick, but I don't need that.

I have not been able to play for years on the EA app. Multiplayer is greyed out and locked. The menu just keeps saying "Data Center: Searching" ... it's never worked for me. Just downloaded again today and tried and nothing has changed. That's my reason for not coming back ... because I can't lol.
The only way i see Titan Fall 3 being a success is if there was some sort of integration between apex and tf.
Whether that would be a crossover between the characters or even a small idea such as taking example from cod, having a proper weapon mastery system with skins you can earn, and possibly taking those skins back into apex, similar to mw and wazone. If they can do it, so can respawn?
If titanfall 3 had the customization like halo reach or Doom 2016 for the pilots, it would be a game worth grinding for. Something titanfall 2 lack on in all honesty.
But given how dedicated respawn are right now, this would be an unlikely outcome.

While it wasn't announced, still suspicious that it was at least mentioned like so many other games at the game awards! still holding onto hope of course, but its whatever! still amazing how its still getting updated even after the 7th anniversary!
wild guess to, but since armored core 6 got an award, maybe ea/respawn looked and said maybe they will continue titanfall! wild times in games! even super old capcom games like jet set radio are coming back to life! so who knows everyone!

I feel like if the messages was from a community member who hacked the servers I think Respawn would’ve 1000% said something to help settle expectations. I’m hoping that they’re using Apex and TF2 to slowly build up hype and interest to have something for the 10 year anniversary. What that may be I have no clue

This is how the game's gonna get released if it gets released. It's only gonna get released. When Call of Duty and battlefield have a huge boom that year. And they're gonna release in between again. We all know it, we're all expecting it. We just don't want to admit it.

I'm really new to the multiplayer TF2 scene, came over from Apex for a break to try something new, it's pretty hard getting sat on by veterans, but when you get a balanced game it's really fun. The other day I watched a vet spend all game fragging people as they tried to get into their titans, didn't mech themself once. It's clear they knew what they were doing, and it's a shame because everyone but me and another left due to it. The game needs to welcome newcomers better I think at-least, that would help the haemorrhage of players
Gameplay can only take you so far, as much as I love TF2's gunplay and movement. Without seasonal content updates, events and intricate progression/ranked systems in place, something most live service games have these days, I ended up bailimg out after a week every time the game had these "comebacks". Here's to hoping TF3 is real and they manage to cook up something to contribute with player's retention
The game is also 7 years old at this point, theres nothing new to get into, so people are playing purely for the love of the hgame, but when the game first came out, everything was fresh, new things were always being discovered and there was an update every month. if they still had that like they do with apex I'm sure players would've stuck around.

Yup. I love Titanfall 2. I've brought a bunch of friends into it via Northstar and again when the main game got fixed... I still SUCK. It's fun but I can never get good at it. I can only imagine what newbs feel like getting ran threw over and over vs vets. 😂

If your right? And TF3 will never happen? I think that it’s a pretty big missed opportunity by Respawn. Just looking at the numbers? I think a TF3 would be a massive hit. To put into perspective everyone talks about TF2 being released right between BF WW1 and COD Infinite Warfare right? Which was its downfall…. But! How many people are playing those two games right now versus TF2? The loyal fan base of Titan Fall is immense….. Because there is nothing else out there like it. I bought it back in the day for my PS4. And I just bought it a couple of months ago for my gaming computer. And if they threw up a TF3 preorder tomorrow? I would buy that too…. I am NOT doing that with other game franchises that old! I am just not. And I would not preorder any other new games. That’s how much I love the Titan Fall universe. I also think there is room for movies and cartoons and toys and a serious expansion of the universe. It’s that good. What other universe has a BT……. A wart hog in Halo is cool? But it’s just a vehicle. BT was your buddy, a 30 ft tall battle buddy! And other universes have mechs. Avatar, Aliens, etc. They are just dumb mechs. Nothing touches the mechs in Titanfall. They have their own personalities unlike a dumb vehicle. It’s just a massively failed opportunity….. And don’t get me started on Apex legends….. I will never own that game.
I love Titanfall and agree, I own it on every platform and would LOVE anything else they put together in that universe. I fully believe it's a MASSIVE missed opportunity, and wish Respawn would throw some love back to the TF fans again. But I also recognize that their shift to Apex brought them far more success, which is easy to see why their focus would remain there. But I agree wholeheartedly, that the TF universe is incredible and needs more

Tbh i think people just want to have fun not sweat their ass of to have a good game and not even win like fortnite is kinda dieing most ogs left simular to titanfall 2 but fortnite is still kinda popular anyway and gets updates monthly unlike tf2 till now
I played hundreds of hours of this game I probably played for 3 years straight consistently. If they want me to sink another near 1000 hours into titanfall I need a new one not the same thing.

Also people not sticking around is no problem, look at apex! Especially in abatle royal setting people are absolutely starving for a realy deep system shooter with difrent clases ( RememberTitanfall has two sets titans and pilots). Leave the hopium, ditch the copium and switch over to the DOPE-IUM! Just menefest it by thinking how dope it would be! And if they make a batlle royale they almost have to another Titanfall. And then it does not have to live up to the hype and we still get a new one wich will be supprted for many years and maybe the most INSANE battle Royal ever!

I honestly hope titanfall 3 never comes out. Respawn has already shown us they dont give two pieces of crap about titanfall. Apex is a mess(and their cash cow). microtransactions,bugs,horrible balancing,woke pandering and no respect for titanfall lore. If they release tf3 it will be apex 2 with a different name
