You look as though you are enjoying your Carrera digital set. A few comments (I will try and be succinct).
Good on you for finding a good and affordable set to start. I started with the same layout, different cars.
I AM NOT a Carrera expert, but I will pass on information based on my experience of the past 3 years in the hobby.
As you stated in one of your earlier videos, Carrera 1/32 cars are considered entry level “toy” cars, but they are a lot of fun.
Taking the “toy” aspect of Carrera cars into consideration, a lot of the “tuning” videos you will find unless specifically targeting Carrera 1/32 cars are not applicable as Carrera cars do not offer (by design) many tuning opportunities. Keep your cars lubed and clean.
Don’t hesitate to take the cars apart (as far as you’re comfortable doing) to check things out and occasional maintenance and cleaning. Lube the bushings and gears, I leave the motors untouched as I’ve fried 2 by overapplying lube to the motor bell end. Also check that the motor is secure in its mount, same for the bushings. I’ve had cars with loose motors and bushings (fixed with tape and a small piece of rubber band respectively).
I agree with you about asking questions even simple ones on various media/forums. Learned early on some folks can’t answer a simple question without telling you what you’re doing is totally wrong or you’re basically stupid. In closing, happy slotting.
Oh yeah, you should be running without magnets, ditch the digital system for analog, or you should be buying, tuning and racing Brand X, Y and Z professional (paid) grade slot cars. Sorry couldn’t resist…LOL

Generally the shorter wheelbase cars will be faster. the RSR cars are vary fast. Also low profile makes a big difference. Test a car without the body and see.
