No such ring is mentioned in the Old Testament, unless you mean Joseph's ring of authority, which has no relationship to Solomon! Maybe the testament of Solomon or the Islamic Hadith or the Tales of the Thousand and One Night carry such info, but not in the Holy Canon(Bible)!!! So this is misleading...

Ok this mythology has gotten SO out of hand. The ring isn't magic. It's technology, because god was a flesh and blood being just like the others that came to earth.
