Red Robin is an American chain of casual dining restaurants founded in September 1969 in Seattle, Washington. In 1979, the first franchised Red Robin restaurant was opened in Yakima, Washington. Red Robin has over 570 restaurants in operation with 90 being operated as a franchise.
Contrary to its name, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews. Burgers were never on their original menu. Since it started as a bar, the food menu was limited to popcorn and wrapped sandwiches for quite a few years until 1973. Thats when they finally added Burgers to the menu.
Red Robin serves bottomless steak fries when ordering their gourmet burger and sandwiches. This offer has been on their menu since 1994 and at every location. Guests can get unlimited refills on fries. Those who do not like fries can substitute their order with sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli, coleslaw or a side salad.
Red Robins offers more than 100 plus topping options. You could customize the burgers with a choice of fresh ingredients, toppings and sauces.

I've always liked Red Robin. Great burgers and I love their plank-style fries. To me, most fries they make today are over-seasoned and over-fried. They must be doing something right because they have been around a long time. I was a busboy there almost 40 years ago.
