Dan patrick is right on immigration - we need to protect the border, dan patrick is right on education - were smarter we can do it, dan patrick is right on taxes - lower property taxes so revenue for citizens have more, dan patrick is right on marriage - the people choose a constitutional amendment, dan patrick is right on protection of the unborn, we're all born human. Dan Patrick is bad for women's right to choose what is right for her own body, he is bad for the LGBT community's right to equality, he wants to raise Texas' sales tax, and he wants to restrict local communities from managing their own property taxes which fund their own local projects. Leticia Van de Putte is the clear candidate for Lieutenant Governor - a position which leads Texas' senate and has essential controls over the State's budget - as she takes the opposite view (and correct view) on each of these issues. I dislike both of these candidates pretty well, but Patrick wiped the floor with Van de Putte mainly because she sounded like she was reading from a damned teleprompter the entire time. Simply put, sounding that fake makes you sound like you just don't have your shit together.
