Good video lads, I’ve fished here twice, one off the island, lake exclusive. Both times struggled, I know it’s a very silty bottom and a good tactic to employ when they are on top is to go on the surface for them. With “frydog” having a few from bottom baits I was wondering what type of rig did he have set up to tackle the silty bottom? Cheers
What I did mate was I fished my bottom bait rig on a helicopter set up with a light lead so the rig sits ontop of the silt. Was dropped out of a boat in the shallower water so the lead wasn't totally buried in the silt.
........... 15-20 yrs ago, when there were none of the added features you have now, you got a CARP, a cast with Tench odd Eel, plus there seems to be 2 lakes,?, correct me if I'm wrong,?, plus you could drive your car right up almost through woods after the Golf course to the Lake its self, .

Thanks darren, we fished over depth zigs , so 3.5ft in 3ft of water with floaters over the top , also 2ft zigs . Fished on the shallows peg on the island , hope this helps pal and good luck have fun session 👍

That’s right mate. The 2nd lake should be up and running now or soon, think it’s going to have a cabin and be booked out as a private lake exclusive
