Probably hetton Lyons big lake has carp in 20s but you take a chance not getting gear stolen.Theres murton near seaham but it's not local for me as I live in Washington Sunderland.Its a proper run lake . called Watergate.Murton.

Gutted it's like that Paul, I'll deffo keep an eye out for good lakes up in the north east

​@paulfranciosi7236 QE2 in Ashington has 30lb+ Carp. Leazes Park and Killingworth lake both have some decent carp in them. I've fished Watergate twice and it's not great. Had a few fish out but there was loads of litter around the lake and the first time I was there there were a few undesirable anglers fishing across from me making loads of noise etc. Second time a load of youths came down to the lake off their nut on drugs. Had to tell them to bugger off in the end before I phoned the bailiff. Plus you always get idiots flying down the road on crossers etc. Not for me... I would say you could come and fish my syndicate as you used to be able to have guests for £10 but unfortunately they've just stopped that. But you are right, we could do with a few decent venues up here. Tight lines🎣

@@corruptedcarpers fingers crossed it won’t take too long mate , at a rough guess I’d say might still be a couple of years , maybe 5-10 new members a year Draw is done at 10am on the Friday , which is when the weekend ticket starts, after that it’s 1st come 1st serve with what’s left

Yer it soon comes around mate, you’ll get offered a winter ticket 1st, A rough idea of the draw normally between 5-10 people on a Friday morning draw for the 16 pegs between the 3 pits Ive got no plans to do anymore on there, but I do always take the camera with me mate, as I’m sure you do , and I’ll do one if I think a session is worth putting a video out for, but if there’s any footage or insight that you might want to see , like I say just gis a shout 👍
