Whenever I come to India and I go to any fast food chain the guy serving me speaks in English and I reply back in Marathi. It's really funny when people start reacting to this. I still remember when Subway guy asked me about the sauces, I replied " tak kharat, thikhat , turret sagle sauce" . Few high fundoo girls started giving me that uff look 😂😝😜

i can talk well in english, hindi ,marathi, konkani...but i always speak in marathi in kfc , mcd , subway , bbq nation...the counter girls or boys are normal people like us.. even if they ask me in english.. i rply in marathi ..we are their customers... and if they are operating in any state they should know the state language very well...do feel free to make them feel uncomfortable.. we are paying them for the product..

This is very good issue... I stay in Germany. Whenever i go out to buy anything from macD, subway, KFC, burger king this people talk in german(local language) even if we talk in English they reply back in local language... So everyone need to learn this... Make others talk in their local language...

World's Top 5s neither Subway nor KFC 😂😂
Even I visited once subway 4 years back but they all were speaking Hindi when I started speaking Hindi. And yes it was very complicated I wasn't aware about types of bread, sausage and toppings.
As a guy who is very good in English and knows all the vegetables; their taste, flavours, etc and all the sauces too, the experience was mind boggling, the weird breads which they can't explain to me(the counter guy got slightly embarrassed so the manager took over) then adding the vegetables, you want more of more veggie and less of another. Then the sauces, I can't see the names so I didn't know which ones to choose, it happens. Subway, for the first time is an experience for everyone and the staff should be trained accordingly...
And finding out that the cheese doesn't cost extra and is included in the amount of the sandwich, even sub of the way was a revelation for me too, infact once one of the guys fooled me into paying extra for the cheese when I was still in school, 6-8th maybe. So the brand does have some serious issues to be fixed.
The food is great though!

I can understand u bro.! Even when I went first time to Subway I had no clues of breads, vegs and sauces. Language n Money wasn't the issue so my reply to every question was "Yes". Finally when it came to sauces he asked me I said all. Then he asked "Medium spicy" and I said yes again. Till today I don't know the taste of individual sauces I only say "Medium Spicy" 😂

My story of subway is like this...i went to subway with my gf and she ordered for me and i was standing with her...and she was asking me what sauce what vegetables i like to add and i was like more embarrassed because of that because she was asking and i dont know what to say...although i know some of the names like lettuce and all...but i though they will charge more.
So what i did was i took my phone and call aane ka natak kia and gf ko bol dia ki apne hisab se krwa lo nd table pe aakar baith gya 😂😂 #darja
