A air speed 68 glide speed B best place to land C run your checklist Fuel on both mixture enrich fuel pump on bump starter D declare emergency 121.5 E evaluate what’s happening
Dear Cindy, your videos, explanation and confirmation (repeat summary) are crystal clear. I have learned the Power off and Power on stalls and its purpose from YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. No one mentioned the purpose or why I am learning these stalls ! You are amazing and Thank you for your videos. God Bless !
Avinash Bandaru A forced landing is when you have to land somewhere, whether it’s an airport, a field, a road. Sometimes during training they’ll do a simulated engine out when they pull the power all the way back and you perform these procedures, except the mayday call and landing on the field
Avinash Bandaru Forced Landings would he made if total engine power is completely lost. Precautionary landing is one in which extreme caution must be exercised when landing, but it is not forced. A good website that lists reasons for a precautionary landing is here www.studyflight.com/precautionary-landing/
I'm not a CFI, but wouldn't step 1 be "level wings"? So many engine out accidents seem to occur because people either attempt to make an "impossible turn" or go into a turn too quickly.
If you fly a aerobatic/stunt plane with big hrzn stabs that dosen`t have a pitch trim surface, make sure to use trim as the hrzn stab. (Max 76%) Trust me i´ve tried in the extra 300 lx
Or in other words..... Pull back. Best glide is lower than any cruise setting. The lone exception that comes to mind is on take off where we push the nose down.

E - Exit procedure (secure the airplane, turn off fuel, electricals, unlatch door, notify passengers).

CaptainShipman 737 yeah i know that but i need clear ground class explanation video i didnt find in youtube
Simple yet understandable! It never gets old
Cindy you are awesome, I love how you explain very clear . Please keep posting more videos . Thank you
Thanks for posting these, they are a good review for existing pilots and a great resource for new pilots!
Your way of explaining things is great! Now upload more videos pleeaaaase! :)
Always appreciate your videos. Really helps cement and helps me retain everything i'm learning in ground
Thanks Capt. Cyndy.
Great teacher, thank you so much.
Great stuff, I love your channel!!!
Any best video for precautionary and forced ground with field diagram and landing procedures , with altitude and all?
The part about flying and letting tree catch the plane was the best point of this video IMH opinion.
Very helpful, thanks a lot.

If you turn the master off don’t you lose your ability to communicate?
id like to know also...hope she is the kinda youtuber that writes back
She may mean to do that a few moments before touchdown (including the ajar door). You can always turn the power back on afterwards for communication.
Forced landing in the jungle was Amelia's worst fear (as she wrote in "Last Flight")!
Love your videos

👍👍👍
I believe sudden engine out training should be instant pitch down...not pull back... there's a whole video series called, don't pull back
Oh Tim...... Think that through. The manufacturer has done the hard work for you. Optimize your chances of reaching a suitable landing site.
Yeah it doesn't mean to dive...but 1st hit your best glide speed.

Standing in front of a camera wearing epaulettes looks so ridiculous and just show's bragging
But captain in your TH-cam name doesn’t “show’s bragging”?
Her videos have helped me and thousands of others , what have you done ? 🤡
Bragging?? It bothers you she is an actual aviation professional?? It’s not bragging if you are accomplished!
