- The Genesee Career Institute (GCI) is proud to offer an excellent U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) program. Students who join JROTC have the opportunity to explore exciting military careers, with no military obligation, while developing leadership skills.
This video features GCI's JROTC Color Guard.
This was an overall good performance.
There were only 2 things that bothered me, both are pretty major.
The first would be her command voice, I don’t know how every unit functions, but in our unit, we always make sure to sound off, we yell commands as loud as we can, basically instilling a sense of authority when we are commanding, her voice was too soft, it almost made me go to sleep, I would work on sounding off.
My last pet peeve would be the marching, everyone was out of step in the beginning, which does not really look good, especially when carrying the colors.
Other than that, uniforms are presentable, the carry colors was alright, and thats all I really had to say. Good Job, Cadets!
I was a JROTC Cadet! Probably still alive today because of the fact. Keep at it.
The words are very smooth... I'm not used to that, in NJROTC is rough and kinda hard to understand
And not attention, atten-hut
Yup exactly, I was caught off guard when I heard attention
@@Knownodin875 I couldn't help but laugh if I'm honest.
@@cheyennecassidy6313 it just felt wrong to me, not to say they did anything wrong but in my JROTC you make your voice low and loud enough for your platoon to hear and it's always some sort of mix up of the command, like Attention being Atten-hut lol
@@Knownodin875 yes exactly
and they did order arms wrong
This looks so awesome. I’d love to be apart of it!
I was in junior guard
On "Present" why is the American Flag held back, thought it was to be held somewhat horizontal
Because the American flag never dips
Yep I have looked it up on several sites and your are correct. Can't remember where is the only time it is dipped. I was WRONG and need to make sure of something before remarking. @@thetrio3295
They do not know how to march. They was not in synch.
You don't either
@@Sclathe yes I can
I'm sorry to say it but their performance was far from sharp
@@Sclathe you in area five?
