    Thanks for the video. I recently purchased this to play with my two 8-year-old twin grandkids. Fun little game and can be played by all ages depending on the cards. Very thorough overview. Thanks so much for ALL of your videos! I was knocked senseless by your barrage of puns but loved it! I'm sending this to my daughter so she can watch it and play the game with us. I'm a fair fan of "Genius Games". If you haven't done a video for CYTOSIS, I would love it if you did so.

    This game looks surprisingly fun. Very satisfying to come up with the math combos

    Great video. Looks like a fantastic game, very scalable depending on the kid's ability. I think the publisher should already be working on an expansion that includes a giant talking button with your voice doing number-pun defeat slogans and sound effects that you get to press every time you succeed. The "your days are numbered" button. Well done!

    I love your super hero voice! I don’t know if this game was meant for me, a 33 year old English teacher, but I really wanna play this game!

      Maybe it’s for someone on your holiday gift list? It’s very reasonably priced at my FLGS.

    ok another few questions (posted on boardgamegeek); can a bonus card trigger other bonus card? For example;
    I have 2 bonus cards;
    - one that says defeat a villain with Even Number
    - another that has the “Same Row” bonus (defeat another villain in the same row)
    If I use the Even Number bonus, can I then apply the “Same Row” bonus to defeat another villain in the same row as the even numbered villain I defeated using the Even Number card?
    Regarding the “Same Row” Bonus; say I use dice to defeat a villain in 1st row. Now I want to use "Same Row" bonus. Do I get to eliminate ANY villain in the 1st row for FREE, OR, do I have to reuse my previous dice roll results to defeat another villain in same row?
    And again, the "chaining" effect... if I have another "Same Row" Bonus, do I get to use that too, ie. the 1st "Same Row" Bonus card eliminates a villain, which allows me to use my other "Same Row" Bonus?
    And I think I read properly on boardgamegeek; bonus cards are a ONE-TIME use correct? The instructions don't mention this

      i mostly did that so that nobody would be able to play the game without yelling it every time they defeated a villain.

    What is the "coop" aspect of this game? ie do players get to share or trade bonuses? "Coop" games typically offer some sort of shared or trading/exchanging ability. I didn't sense this in this video.

    • @NightsAroundaTable
      @NightsAroundaTable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cooperative angle is that you're all working together to stop the bad guys. If they break through the lab's defenses, everybody loses. If you wipe the board before that happens, everybody wins.

      @@NightsAroundaTable whats max player count? Do more players make it easier? Thanx for the info. Sounds like “solo coop”… no sharing or trading… just take your turn, next player goes. No “cooperative interaction” :(

    • @NightsAroundaTable
      @NightsAroundaTable  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@supercommando440 1-6 players. Cooperation might come in the form of "my character's power would be better for tackling these guys, so save them for me" or "i have a bonus card that lets me take care of that guy, so why don't you focus on these ones on your turn?"
