That was such a beautiful moment! They were all so moved. I could feel their emotion. I want to know the meaning of the song. It has a special meaning to Croatians, beyond its words, I think. So beautiful!!
The first song is a very famous a capella song, a love song that touches soul... Late Vinko Coce performed it first with his sublime voice... Beautiful song! The second song is from the war period and it sings about longing for homeland and how the author will return to the northeast part of Croatia... It always brings memories and tears to the eyes...
I wish I knew how to correctly pronounce the beautiful words in their beautiful language...especially to Ne Dirajte Mi Ravnicu...but the words translated in English are just as beautiful to me... And I just love how they all start clapping and showing their appreciation all throughout the song!
Many Croatian innocent citizens and soldiers gave their own life in Homeland war between 1991y.-1995y. Second song - 'Ne dirajte mi ravnicu' is deep inside our hearts and souls. Song telling us that after all the agony and destruction of war where we die together. We are thinking about our lives and returning to our devastated homes after war is over. 😌
Ne dirajte mi ravnicu.....is very emotional to us and hits us hard and deep into our hearts every time we hear it. The tears are just running down our cheeks.
Rough translation: Tonight, my good people, don't ask anything of me. Let the tears quietly flow so it will hurt less. Do not bother me tonight, In memory (honor) of me. Don't touch my fields/plains (the region of Croatia where this song originates is rural country and was hit hard during the war and many people were forced to leave their homes) For I will return. Deep down I still hear my mother how she sorrowfully says, When you finally return, I will be waiting for you. Do not bother me tonight, In memory (honor) of me. Don't touch my fields/plains For I will return. My fields still call to me as does the tambure (Tambure is a traditional string instrument from the region) Before I close my eyes, if I could once more see you again. Do not bother me tonight, In memory (honor) of me. Don't touch my fields/plains For I will return.

First one is love song, and is from part of Croatia called Dalmatia (by the Adriatic sea), the second one is patriotic, expressing love and longing for homeland of man who has been expelled from it during the war. This song is from Slavonia (inland of Croatia, heavily suffered in croatian war for independence).

GOOD NIGHT. CROACIA. WOLCOME. BENDITIONS. FÁTIMA LORIA C FROM COSTA RICA. PEACE AND LOVE. ♥♥♥)
This song is devoted to my province of Slavonia that suffered harshly during the war. Alltså called as the unofficial anthem of Slavonia.
大勢の方々が、2CELLOS に、感動して光を持って、感謝してお聴きしています。素晴らしい響きです。
💗🕊🐍I absolutely love the atmosphere you feel with the candles the audience lightest. The beauty when the audience sing with this special song🐍🕊💗

Songs like this one are, fortunately, beyond believes, countries and people as this music is the expression of the best feelings human beings can have
Stunning. Breathtaking. Absolutely amazing.
Don't Touch My Valley (Plain)
Tonight, my good people,
don't ask me anything
let the tears flow quietly
that way it hurts less
Deep inside me, I still hear my mother
telling me sorrowfully;
'when you come back one day son
I will be waiting for you'.
My fields are calling me
my mandolins are calling me
before I close my eyes
(wish) to see them all just once more
Chorus
Don't touch tonight
the memories inside me,
don't touch my valley (plain)
because I will come be back.
I thought everyone singing while they were playing was absolutely beautiful.
Just perfect!! Can watch and listen again and again
If these two hunks don’t persuade young people to listen to and play the cello I don’t think anything will!!! 💙🎻💙🎻

Lijepa dalmatinska pjesma i hrvatska, iz vremena rata, obe divne e dirljive, pravo u srce, bravi 2cellos, ❤️🎻🍀🙏🍀🎻💐🇭🇷🙏❤️
@@imagination.of.myself9158Oladi... Očito misli na "Ne dirajte mi ravnicu".
