Question for experienced sellers on Ebay. Unfortunately I'm selling my Jungle Hunter Predator Deluxe, how do I price the listing if I just want my money back? Especially with the 3 boxes for 1 listing but shipping cost shows $280. Will I be paying extra for shipping when I buy the labels for the 2nd and 3rd box? I paid $3,620 total with shipping and handling. Currently have it listed for $3,700.
I did, late February last year. Sold it because between preordering and receiving the item, I bought a townhouse and remodeled it up the wazzu (modern look = more expensive) which got me into too much debt, so I needed some quick cash. Listed it for $3,700 and was buyer paid $4,250 overall with shipping. I think I paid $40 for the label for each box. Still trying to sell other items to bring down debt, ebay, surgemaestros_stuff just in case anybody is interested.@@PassionForArtCollector
I wouldn’t say it’s completely off, they should improve that portrait though and I hope they will. You’re right, it must be seen in person to have a better idea. The comparison pictures are not exactly the same angles, lighting and perspective also but it’s true, they should come back on the portrait. Overall the statue is very beautiful IMO. We have also to consider that silicone at that scale might involve more difficulties than polystone or PVC but it’s just my guess. I’m trying to think at Cinemaquette 1/3 silicone portraits and JND always achieve far better results in comparison likeness wise. Luckily it’s not in my collecting focus anyway so my wallet is safe this time!
i think the likeness is there it just seems like the eyes are too light of blue, where in the movie scenes her eyes are darker. just like any statue or real person they look somewhat different from different angles. I think in person it would be much better and look awesome.
Portrait is maybe half likeness - the shape of the face seems wider than real life Liv. Overall a nice statue. I felt like their Catwoman portrait had the opposite discrepancy, too narrow compared to real like Anne. Maybe they're aiming for how the portrait looks at a distance along with the rest of the statue? For the price, I'd expect the portrait to be more accurately proportioned.
I agree the face needs re-working. Maybe 80% there? Does anyone else feel like her eyes and brows need lowering so that her forehead is a tad bigger and jaw smaller?
I'd go so far as to say it looks nothing like her. Similar to when you see a celebrity with a good bit of plastic surgery after the public hasn't seen them in a while and everyones like "WHO IS THAT!?" It's the same person under the surgery but the way our brains work the slightest differences in our faces are very very noticeable especially the more familiar with the person. Like a family member who wakes up and they face is a little swollen since they aren't feeling well etc.. We're talking millimeters, but can be very noticeable. So when a face is 30-60% similar at most angles then it's someone else.
Marketing blab is the worst to have to listen to. It's close, but the face is too wide when it should be more narrow. I think the iris size is a tad too small also. That and the price is too enormous.
Fail. Poor Arwen. The likeness is off and needs improving. JND pieces are overrated.
Let's see if jnd will revise. My guess is no. They are stubborn as a mule

a deep fail in my opinion, i could even see the eyes and lips of their WW, just like if they used the same molded face for Arwen and Gal Gadot.
