- previous month many bills charged through pro-rata consumption bases in pakistan because billing cycle was distrub through some issues. according to NEPRA rules billing cycle is always 30 days.Reading dates difference of less than 30 days or more than 30 days create pro rata consumption.bills which charged according to pro-rata previous month, LS and EX codes written along with previous month units.whatvis LS and EX codes in Electricity bills in pakistan.
Bills which reading duration is less than 30 days previous month and charged thro pro-rata basis written code LS along with previous units.because LS means less short or less number of day.Bills which reading duration is more than 30 days previous month and charged as pro-rata basis EX code written.EX means excess.

Hamara bill 197 unit ka 7400 rupay aya hy. 197 units 22.95 rupees k charge kiye hyn. Jab k hona yeh chahiye tha k 100 units 16 rupay aur 97 unit 22.95 k charge krty. Fraud Maryam Nawaz

Sir ya pro rata system computerized hota hai ya manual mera matlab ka bill bsnana wala khud hisab karta hai ya system automatically generate karta hai bill weghaira

Aghar units 50 say kam ho pir 350 rs tak a sakta hay. Ap apnay mutalqa RO office may ja ki billing section say conform kara day

Asalam o Alaikum! Ma na meter reading check ki ha pury one month ki reading hui ha complete (29th May -29th June) aur us hisab se 189 units consume huye hain but unhon ny 210 units banaye huye hain aur meter reading k section ma actual reading bhi nhi likhi hui barha kr likhi hui jb k agr wo 30 days se pehly reading krty jb barhaty but maybe unhon ny 200 units se above krny k liye ye kia!!! Any suggestions?
Ap apnay mutalqa sub division office ja ki un ko ye batay aghar koye proof hay apke pas vedio ya picture reading ki wo b dika day,ap ko protected category say nikalni k lea iss tarah kiya hogha aghar na mani the you put your case in wafaqi muhtasab free of cost

Hafiz. First of all create ID on the citizen portal. trust me the complaint that is documented INSHA ALLAH will boost.

To secure youself.
1- Apni consumption monitor kareen. At least 1 or two months. Day 1 picture time example 9:am or 12Pm phir next day be same time picture lain. Aur ager her rooz mukhtalif time bi lay lain koi harj nahe...
2- Khas toor per akhri wo din Jin mai emkaan haie kay reader aeye ga.. like ap ki 29 each month reading date haie tou app lazmi 27/28/29JULY-2024 say lay ker atleast 02AUG-2024 tak lazim picture layin. like this app kay pass proof hoga..
3- Pro Rata introduce esliyee howa haie kiyon kay logon ko aik tou bill 31,32,33,35 din ka readers dal rahay thay aur reading date bi bill per theek nahe hoti thi. jo kay abi en do maah mai darust howey hain.. aur bay tasha complaints nepra mai bi gaien haie. esliyee kehtay hain ager aik banda complaint kerta haie wo zaya nahe hoti aik aik qatray say derya banta haie..
ab ho yee raha haie awam ko nahe patta pro rata kesay kam karta haie... meter reader chahay 31 days ki reading lay ya 35 days ki es pro rata say bill consumer ko 30 days ka he ana chaheyee.. Reason meter readers infact electricity departments mai staff ki etni qilaat haie kay pocho maat..
Readers hain kam, aur gher hain zeyada so readers schedule kay hisab say nahe kar patay.. phir kahin jaga woo loog zeyada dino baad aur kabi kabi public holidays ki waja say late kartay.
4-PRO RATA - MORE THAN 30 DAYS
ager ap ki reading 33 din ki bi li haie example 210 units so es case mai (PRO RATA WILL) apply 210 divided by 30 days (average 7 units per day ) so 21 units have to be reduced from the reading so your billed units should be 189. yee farq apko 33 way din li gaie picture say pata chal jaeye ga.. jaab picture laytay hian time aur date bi atti haie .. ya jo bi date actual reading hogi date aur time stamp aeye aur ager late ye zeyada tou ap pichaly bill say dekh saktay hain.
5-NO PRO RATA
ager kesi ki reading on time hoi haie ounkay liyee pro rata apply nahe karay ga..
6-PRO RATA LESS THAN 30 DAYS
same formula like seq-4 es mai sirf addition hoga..
System neya hae esliyee electricity department be handle nahe ker paraha.. office mai jaoo they will start another story.. the best way to login complains in citizen portal with some explanation. trust me you will be called. Sometimes the electricity department put some fake remarks and close the complaint but again you lodge a complaint. You will be called and dealt properly.
Meray case mai last month 30days ki reading per pro rata charging ki but still I was below 200 so it didn't effect my below 200 salab. Muhhay 1 day extra charged kiya. dusray mano mai advance kehloo. Per meray case mai pro rata apply he nahe kerta tha..
Par Mai nay Citizen portal per complaint ki address kiya aur ouskay kernay kay baad they excepted the mistake and this month my reading was taken of 31 days but charging was done for 30days.. Which is fine.
Aesi complaints kay liyee portal per complaint karoo. Jaldi jawab atta haie aur doucmented rehta haie.. Office mai tou koch bi nahe hota. Mai nay office jana chordiya haie.. Mai Citizen portal ya nepra mai e complaint he kerta houn..
I know some one 3 months before.. 8 months say name change ki request di thi . Per Gepco walay bas kheliyaan kheel rahay thay... Citizen portal par complaint ki 2nday call agaie.. kay ap apnay request number wats up karain. Phir Citizen portal per remarks updated ho gaye aglay month ka bill new name say gaeye..
koshish kerna hamra kam bakki ALLAH per chordo. ALLAH nay tou firoun say kam lay ker HAZRAAT MOOSA (ALY) ki perwarish ousi ka gher mai karwa di thi.. tou phir yee tou aik bill haie...
@@speaktruth2830 shukria bhai... yar aik question mujhy 70,80 units charge hote the suddenly ab 201, 273 units lagne lag gaye hain load to same hi hai.. should I lodge a complaint on citizen portal or should I adopt any other method?
