SPECIAL SOLO ARTS HEAL on Wednesday, May 22 with AnCan's own MSr, Karen Broder.
This month's Solo Arts Heal , a partnership between AnCan and The Marsh Theater Company in Berkeley/San Francisco features Karen Broder on Wed 5/22 @ 10.30 pm Eastern/ 7.30 pm Pacific. 7.30 pm Pacific works well for Karen since she's already a regular Marsh Theater goer in what could be a first for the two partners.
Karen lives with secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis that does not stop her belting out great songs in her magnificent alto voice and telling stories about living with MS. A wordsmith, singer, musician, performance artist, raconteur, provocateur. “I’ve been called all kind of names and most of them are true. But that doesn’t tell the whole story.”
Karen’s inimitable humor creatively crafts an arsenal of anecdotes to battle the forces of frustration - both real or Imagined. Karen Broder is also a regular in our AnCan MS Group and Virtual Art Class
