For everyone saying she has wavy hair instead of straight, that is a possibility but she could technically have curly hair and just have been straightening her hair for so long. Curls can take awhile to come back in after straightening it and not wearing it natural.

Absolutely! The other day I was watching an old Graham Norton interview with Nicole Kidman. They were showing pics from when she was in her teens and she had super curly red hair. honestly everyone has different hair & as you grow up your hair literally changes. my hair was more curly when i was 4 & then my whole time at elementary it would just be wavy/straight because of the way my parents would style it (in a ponytail.) until i was in middle school my hair started to be more wavy/curly. then in high school it would curl more so I started to take care of it & add product which lead my hair to look curlier & healthier. products really just enhance the curls you already have so yeah obviously peoples hair will be curlier off of the product you add but most likely won’t do anything if your hair straight.

You have finer hair. I would suggest applying a more water based gel and even adding water to it. I personally don’t like to use gels, however it is simply just a texture thing for me. I scrunch my hair with my fingers while it is soaking wet and when the curls have reached peak definition I use a t-shirt or microfiber towel and gently squeeze the water out a few times before adding a tiny amount of water based leave in conditioner and leaving it to air dry. My hair is fine so it drys fairly quick. My curls occasionally come out different; sometimes they’re loose and sometimes they’re tight.

As someone with really curly hair, just know that you should avoid products with sulfate in it. I stopped using sulfate and the condition of my hair has greatly improved
So around 3 months ago I stopped shampooing my hair every time I wash It and that has also really helped my dry hair. Obviously shampoo occasionally
I have found that the curly Ellie products are really good ( even though they are meant for children) so definitely recommend it

OK, if you want tips for having curly hair like I do, I use shampoo and conditioner called Shea Moisture and a hairbrush. I brush it in the shower after conditioner, and then after I wash out the conditioner, I brush it after with the bouncy curl define brush. Then I separate my curls and scrunch it then I flip my head over and then I scrunch it with a towel and I wrap it and I’m like put it back and then I let it sit for like a minute. I take it out my hair three times back-and-forth and then use love curls all in one repair hydrate in style step three I don’t use step one in two because that’s shampoo and conditioner and I use my other one and then defuse it.

I was bullied for my curly hair since i am a toddler, everyone who was considered 'beautiful' had straight hair. I started to brush my damn hair to make it straight when i was 5 or 6. Now curly/wavy hair is considered unique and i can't stop feeling bad about people with straight hair claiming that they have curly hair. When this trend is f☆cking done like any other ones in a year or two, i will still have my curly hair and you will still have your 'pretty' hair. It's just hurting me and feeling so self-concious

  • @calligraphyfairy6693

The real test is you shaving your head and watching it naturally grow. Curly hair products don't curl. They strengthen and seal the hair in place. It's also best to do that technique on damp not soaking wet hair. Your hair being almost completely straight wet does sum up your probably don't have naturally curly hair but you can achieve a curly hairstyle just by braiding your hair at night, mist it with a spray bottle then adding the gels and stuff.
Many curly girls had to deal with being called pube head and spent years chemically relaxing or putting heat on their hair so this trend is a little cring. Do research before a video. Wavy is not the same as curly.
