Love the coverage...Really would like a better view of the board so I can read the cards...like a split screen with a close up camera on each side type of thing...right now there isn't enough info on the screen
Zach Hill constantly doesn't see things on board or know the rules perfectly. Marshall has corrected him alot over the years. I imagine there was a good reason we see Marshall now in hindsight. I did like Zach but he missed alot.
Edward Corbett You have to choose a target for the spell. Goud chose to target Reid, but on the resolution of the spell, he redirected. It's not switching a target, it's actually the proper way to go through that sequence. Saying "Target Sorin" or the like is just a tournament shortcut.
As much as I'd like that, it isn't quite realistic. Spellslingers has the benefit of a long period for post production, as well as Wizards supporting it by giving the guys early access to M15.
That second game seems like Dezani couldn't possibly lose if he just traded the morphs and played the tusker. Can anybody give any draw by Manfield that makes that the right play?
well manfield would have played the mantis rider and flipped the efreet and attack with everyone for exact lethal damage (+3/+0 the mantis for 6 damage and the remaining creature deals 4 damage no matter which one he blocks)
Dezani keeping a one land hand...
"Nice topdeck." Manfield had the win on board.

Zac Hill is going to drive me crazy with his repetitive "yeah, I mean" throughout the tournament coverage.
never noticed lol
Yeah, I mean that can be a little annoying.
Annoying and devastating.
I hate that you pointed that out, I never noticed before and now it's driving me crazy lol
his voice is so annoying i can only take like 2 minutes of any video he's on unfortunately. i thought he left magic
I feel bad for Dezani, he had a really nice deck
Moments in history: Great Cinema: 3:41 -- 3:49
what are the symbols on the cards, the little ink marks
?

How was Master the Way redirected at Sorin? in the Duke/Gould match?
Damage dealt to players can be redirected to planeswalkers since they are technically a second player
I understand that, but how was he able to choose a new target if he already targeted the player.
It wasn't technically a new target. Like I said before damage can be redirected

potatoman9000 Thanks but I think you're a bit too late
It's too newbie unfriendly, i have no idea what most of the cards are, why not take a page from spellslingers and have a box that shows every card?
Good point.

wouldn't that take up even more room. there isn't a lot to go around.
This is literally the most newbie friendly play style. They're using cards from the newest set which is what most newbies buy.
I mean, all of these draft decks will still beat any standard deck from spellslingers.

why does everyone say chief of the blade?
Jeremy Saltzani Kappa
Reid Duke first round Mike? That sucks... Good job anyway though, representing Nova Scotia!
Yeah, I mean..... Yeah, I mean... Yeah, I mean..... Yeah, I mean....
You just hope BDM has good breath.
There's a singular black guy there.
