Congrats on that PB! It seems that trans issues are the Hercules heel of most fast turbo rabbits/vw's, or mk1 as we now them here in SA. What would you upgrade to over this?
Im putting in a aba from a 96 jetta in my 82 rabbit i have a few questions like how do you tune the engine for turbos? And how do you wire in the obd2 harness to the car?
We use standalone ECU to tune, not much can be done with stock ecus other than a chip tune. Wiring is actually simple, having a Bentley manual and a2resource website helps with the pinouts. Once you have all the wiring, it only takes like 4 wires to get it going
