To celebrate my first ever continuation of episodic content, I thought I'd double down and release two episodes at the same time! :-) Let me know what you think about the use of time-lapse in these videos - is it nice to see full continuity of the playthrough, or annoying? Is the music OK, or maybe you turn off sound anyway? Did I explain things sufficiently and were the captions too quick, or unintelligible...?
Well, I definitely uploaded 2 and 3 in the right order, but I made them public at the same time and that confused TH-cam, I think. Where is it that you noticed that?
If they have not changed the mission mechanics since 7.5, it seems that if an expected mission do not appear to the most used Trading Station, try check the 3-4 other around spawn area. Time-lapse is good.
I confirmed the issue here with a game design dev, on the forum, and it turns out that Crafty Mike missions are unlocked by GSO XP in between full levels. So I was essentially trying to acquire them too soon. I was only just level 3 GSO, and need to be about level 3.5.
I've had a challenge run in mind for the last year, but much more restrictive than that. Wanted to do a couple more things with the crafting playthrough first, if I can (we'll see). Anyway, if you can salvage there's no need to fabricate to get through campaign. It's more like the standard way of playing then. :-)
Sorry guys. Pretty much a 1 year (or so...) everything hiatus... But I've been starting to get back into the Terraria mindset, and crossing my fingers that I'm able to keep making regular content (at least 2 vids per month) I'm definitely aiming to make more Terraria stuff. :-) What kind of videos would you most like to see? Technical tutorials (e.g. about teleporters, wiring theory, logic gates, etc), or maybe more of a playthrough with explanatory sections worked in, a bit like these...?
Aww, man, I *kinda* showed how it works in this video already. And it's fairly simple, just build up a little from the even more simple "GSV Seed Drill". Have you seen that you can download both from the Steam workshop, via the links in the description? :-)
yea but that's where the issues arise, steam and I havent really mixed well, oil and water kinda thing, and I got terra tech through a browser download so my game is separate from the steam
That's a shame, there's a lot of really great techs on the workshop from other players too. But there's no integration for the GOG buyers, I think it is... That's why I uploaded a zip file of all the episode's techs to Dropbox too (does this help?): www.dropbox.com/s/nl11p1c0y3cz8xl/2018-02-28%20Crafting%20Playthrough%20-%20Ep3%20-%20Tech%20Snapshots.zip?dl=1
Do you get that you can load those ".png" pictures as techs in the game, by putting them in the snapshots folder? (The data is burred in the images themselves!) Put them in: "C:\Users\[Windows User]\Documents\My Games\TerraTech\Snapshots" (on Win 10).
Do you mean, you'd like to have a copy of the code...? Don't have it to hand, but you could google it up, I'm sure "auto-clicker" or something. Or maybe even program your mouse software to do similar.
I may have to see an image of your setup to know what's going wrong. It sounds like the extra conveyor setup is not working at all, for you. It has to be literally identical, block for block, and in terms of conveyor flow priorities. You could post in the TT discord group, if that helps with pictures, too. Tag me there if you like (I'm a mod): discord.gg/4nZmEq
Zero I think I figured out a method. I have this setup 2x 4 port receivers, 1x gso mixed 4pk silo, 2x refineries, delivery cannon with just enough conveyor on the long side. Deft but gets it done.....slowly....
@@solidus3168 Oh, sorry, are you using the refinery to bulk refine all resources as they come into storage? The "conveyor on the side" configuration does nothing to fix that. It's only for auto-crafter calls from Fabricators. You'll need to force refinement for a passive refining setup.
I'm sorry. :-( I'm hoping I might be able to start working on some more in a couple of weeks, after life distractions abate, if my health is OK too. :-s
....? 4....? Silos...? 4 Auto-miners working on one seam...? That's tricky - see the tutorial in the previous video. If the ground there is sloped it's probably not going to happen. Otherwise just keep jigging it back and forth until it goes right. Maybe give it a bit of a twist too. Or make do with 3 miners working is fine.

ZeroGravitas you uploaded them in the wrong order D:

It's that way in your channel's video list, at least for us.
im a personal fan of time lapses over cuts. the captions worked wonderfully
ZeroGravitas love your channelkeep up the great work
Great episode buddy! Super slick.

"We know the drill here"
*badum-tish!*
I'm glad someone noted that. Terrible as it is... Heh. ;-)
Im beginning in the game and Its very helpful for me
Thx very much
More vids with plane plz
Thanks, good to know. I'll see what I can do. :-)

Make sense, then probably the XP reached the level while checking the other TS, taking down enemies and missions along the way.
Thank you for such an informative video.
Me: seeing "All snapshots in ur description"
Me:
*INSTANT DOWNLOAD*
Well, I'm glad someone noticed that, heh! I mostly get comments asking me to upload them, having not looked in the description. 😕
@@ZeroGravitas oh, well thanks for the "All Snapshots" though, i enjoy the snapshots ZeroGravitas.... :), Thanks 😃
I love your vids so much keep up the good work
hm, you know, it's been 4 years and they still haven't fixed that filter bug.
Here's an idea. Do a series where you cannot buy blocks. You have to craft everything or salvage it.
I've had a challenge run in mind for the last year, but much more restrictive than that. Wanted to do a couple more things with the crafting playthrough first, if I can (we'll see).

That one year terraria haitus is killing me man

somewhat, I just wish the pics were from multiple angles, greatly appreciate it though :-)

Hey Zero, can you make a tutorial on how to mane GSV Seed drill? I am in ps4 so I cant load the tech.
Physics is happening! Physics is happening!
jesus how god pc u have cause i see fantastic graphics and extremly much items on floor
It's a mid range 3 year old desktop with a 4 year old GPU... But yeah, it handled TerraTech about as well as possible, at the time.
and this video is why i just subed to you.
Great to know I have viewers who are here specifically for my TerraTech content too. :-)
5:33, indeed, you know the 'drill' Heh
Put more blackholes?
what is the script of autohotkey ??

Zero, I still get the refinery skipping some of the items, most but not all get refined with the single extra conveyor method but about 1 in 5 do not

Zero Ooooo It says that in the vid....I have no idea why I assumed it would work, musta been tired
@@solidus3168 Yeah, but it says a whole heap of stuff in the vid. No problem. 🙂
