Lyrics:
In the quiet misty morning
When the moon has gone to bed
When the sparrows stop their singing
And the sky is clear and red
When the summer’s ceased its gleaming
When the corn is past its prime
When adventure’s lost its meaning
I’ll be homeward bound in time
Bind me not to the pasture;
Chain me not to the plow
Set me free to find my calling
And I’ll return to you somehow
If you find it’s me you’re missing
If you’re hoping I’ll return
To your thoughts I’ll soon be listening
In the road I’ll stop and turn
Then the wind will set me racing
As my journey nears its end
And the path I’ll be retracing
When I’m homeward bound again
Bind me not to the pasture;
Chain me not to the plow
Set me free to find my calling
And I’ll return to you somehow
Bind me not to the pasture;
Chain me not to the plow
Set me free to find my calling
And I’ll return to you somehow
In the quiet misty morning
When the moon has gone to bed
When the sparrows stop their singing
I’ll be homeward bound again
I sing this song for my Choir class. She sounds so good, and she's so pretty
Everything about this song and video brings me to tears. This beautiful, sweet-faced girl, the lyrics, the music. Wow. This is the person and the song I want at my funeral.
This song makes me happy
YA HANNAH!!! You sound and look beautiful!! I love being your friend!!!
Thanks Reese! I am so glad we are friends!
lovely voice
Hi! My name is Hannah Elizabeth and I sang this when I was your age. This was wild to watch! You did wonderfully.
I sang this song as my audition piece for the New England Music Festival auditions. I listened to this video over 100 times to prepare for the audition, I swear. (I got in, so I must have done something right lol) NEMFA was one of the best things that ever happened to me. What makes this whole thing even funnier is that I'm a bass lmao. I had to downscale this to my octave when I sang it at the auditions.
Absolutely beautiful Hannah! We are all so proud of you.
Thank you! i love being a part of RUCC!

Hi , I was listening to your song it was Beautiful, This is Denny's and Blossom, for the Glory of God we are planning to do a 50 voices choir, all for his glory, the ultimate aim of this is to glorify God with 50 voices covering member's from various parts of the world
Would you like to be a part of this choir ?
I have to sing this song for a solo and I'm gonna get judged 😬
Keep working at it. You have great diction. From one singer to another try adding a little more vibrato to you voice otherwise great job i can tell you put a lot of work into this. Btw this is my favorite song
You have some great insights here. Her vibrato will develop as her voice matures. I don’t expect any 15 yr old to have a well-developed vibrato, but if this video was three yrs ago in 2021 perhaps she has worked on her vibrato, her diction, and her dynamics as well since then.
Dynamics are really key, as I’m sure you know, and will do a lot to show she’s a more mature singer. Even more than a vibrato. Some singers never develop a good vibrato and that’s okay. But dynamics and diction are key to every single singer and go far in showing a well-developed voice and even a well-developed tone.
Good luck, Hannah!
