Plusinno Telescopic Spinning Combo - Is it any good?

- I was contacted by Plusinno to do an unboxing and review of this telescopic travel spinning rod and reel combo. I am not being paid for this video, but they did send it to me for free. This is an honest review and I talk about what I like about it, and what I don't like.

It being on amazon is a lot more convenient then aliexpress because you can get the fast prime shipping. In my opinion the reel is better than the rod. I fished with this setup for about 2 hours and it does get heavy. It is about 7' long and i would say it is med to med heavy action. The reel is a 3000 size and has a smooth drag with instant anti reverse.
The 3 main things I like about it is 1. The size. It is small enough to put in your carry on luggage or behind your seat but is powerful enough to bass fish with. 2. it has a smooth drag. 3. The handle folds up to make it even more compact.
The 3 main things I would change are 1. The reel seat. It has some movement with the reel attached, even if it is cranked down tight. 2. The weight, it is a little heavy if you are going to fish for a long time. 3. The eyes. I like the first eyes on a spinning rod to be bigger. These eyes almost look like they belong on a casting rod.

Thanks, we are good, just waiting for the weather. We all just got over our second round of Covid but it was really mild. I didn’t even test positive, but had the exact same symptoms as my wife and she did test positive. Runny nose, sneezing, to congestion, to all good in about a week.

Hey buddy how's it going. I see you stuck underneath this cold air too. I know you are happy you don't have six inches of snow on the ground and stuck in 24° weather for the high. How warm was it when you went fishing? I see you stay dry while wearing pants & tennis shoes for the first time kayaking. I like the rod that you got man that is nice. And the price was decent too. Thanks, it was about 70 degrees that day and it was so nice. It is cold now so no fishing for a while... The Hobie Compass did keep me dry and i had rocks to step out on to keep my feet dry. Pretty cool, i cant believe i havent tried this before. Have a good week 👍
Not gonna lie, I prefer a solid 1 piece rod. But I can see the benefit of having a nice compact form factor to keep behind the truck seat.
I can’t do one piece rods. I broke 2 last year. I’ve never broke a 2 piece. I like the multi section rods better than telescopic ones because they are lighter but these telescopic ones are just so easy and convenient. I think this one will go in the trunk of my wife’s car just in case she decides to take me shopping near a pond 🤣
Oh snaps. They are real people. I had an email from these guys and I'm so scared someone's going to get my info and steal my identity. I don't answer to half the emails I get unless I can 200% tell they're authentic. Hahaha.
Haha, surprisingly very easy to work with as well. I would recommend them for that alone.
Im telling u man theyre out in the middle too the deep. My pb was nowhere near the bank almost 9lbs
That’s amazing! I used google maps to calculate that I peddled over 7 miles for one fish, haha. I did see another kayaker that caught a 5 pounder on a skirt less chatterbait
@@BRandomFishing man thats alot but hey its good for u. I see kayakers do really good out there. Its tuff on decker sometimes. One time we caught big striper back to back to back for like 20 minutes straight
