People watching on St. George Street! There are also some less expensive food options - pizza, bakeries, ice cream. There is also a market on Saturday mornings - it's larger than the one at the pier. Thanks for the video. Have been going there since I was a teenager, and you have even touched on some places I've never been!
Awesome that we figured a few you have never seen! We did a lot of research and visited over 3 years while filming this video. Great suggestions on more things to do! People watching on St George St can be fun, especially the musicians. The food is wonderful all over St. Augustine! Thanks for watching!
Another informative video. Just FYI the Government house has clean, AC bathrooms. The Famer's Market on Sat mornings at the amphitheater is always fun and they do have music. The pier in Vilano is free, walk out for views, talk to the fishermen. Walk the street early in morning to really be able to see structures. Watching for your next one.
We actually did walk the streets before 9 am, and nobody was there. We kind of enjoyed the empty streets. Your tips are great for free things to check out, too! Thanks for always watching and leaving such nice comments!
@EricDraven-qd9pu Seriously? If you knew the history behind Fort Mose you would not say this. I've been to Fort Mose several times and it's very historic and the First Underground Railroad.
@smartsavvyandloved2095 we were amazed that there was a place in the south that had free Africa American people, and there were mixed couples. You never hear this history in school. It was a town built on love.
Love it guys! We've been watching the vids on our Playstation together so we weren't able to comment, but I wanted to let you know that we loved the vid as usual. We obviously love Saint Augustine and love when you did videos there and Amelia. Great stuff and keep it coming!!! ~ London and Nat
We have to make it to your area soon since we have never been to Jacksonville. We love that area of Florida all the way to Ponce inlet. I want to go past that to New Smyra eventually. Thanks for watching guys, and commenting!
Fort Mose State Park! It is a really nice area. It has a small museum about the people who lived there. It was the first free black settlement, which was impressive because it was the south and 1738. Unfortunately, it didn't last very long but a beautiful idea for such a primitive time. It's definitely a nice afternoon to wander the grounds. Thanks for watching!
@@FloridaandBeyond I was the last sampler before they made changes to Pizzalleys 2 years ago. The pizza samples have only been back for a few weeks. They really are OMG good.
Military veterans can get themselves and 3 family members into the Castillo de San Marco for free by getting the America the Beautiful pass before traveling to St. Aug. for a small fee you can apply on line and have it shipped to you before you go.
We went to Castillo in another video in the daytime. We have never been at night but it sounds fun! We have done Ripley's and the lighthouse at night. They were both a lot of fun! Thanks for watching! 🙂
So I talked to people there about fishing. The price is for admission to fish, not the licenses. They already have a blanket license for everyone to fish in that area. Have fun! It is a beautiful area!
@nickizcool20 lol thanks. So this video was filmed from 2020 to 2022. It was required to wear a face mask at certain times. Plus during 2020 and 2021, Mike and I were traveling a lot. We never caught Covid even though we were in a lot of crowds thanks to the mask. I am not sure why people don't remember things were mandatory at certain times. 🤔

Geez I hope some of this footage is old with all the wacky masking, which don't stop nanoscale virus. Come on Florida, don't be California! Great vid tho! We're in Daytona.
This video was compiled over 3 years and 3 different trips. If people were wearing masks, it was because it was mandated at the time. Thanks for watching!

Great tips! Lots to vlog in St. Augustine!
Thanks! We love St Augustine!
Fort Mose is a great place and only $2.00 and the history behind the fort is great.
We thought so, too!
Looks racist AF
@@EricDraven-qd9pu why does it look racist? What looks racist?

We love St Augustine! It is an amazing trip. Thanks for watching, and I hope you have a great trip!
Thank you, very nice guide
Thanks for watching!
I haven't been on that nature park you showed after Anastasia SP. I need to look up that one. 👍

You forgot the St George Street samplers. I work at Pizzalley's. After a 2 year hiatus, we're giving away free pizza samples again!
@ediehall3583 this was two years ago, so you weren't probably there at the time lol. Good to know! Thanks for the info!

Another great breakdown of all that St. Augustine.
Thank you! This is our last video for now of St. Augustine. We love this town. There is so much to see and do.

That is awesome and good tip for military families! Thank you! 🙂
The mission only has the small chapel that's historic built. The other two buildings on property are new builds
Good to know! It was a cute little church. Thanks for watching! 🙂
try going to the castillo at night, its a different vibe.
