The King and Queen have completed their three-day state visit to France, taking in Paris and Bordeaux.
The trip aimed to highlight the friendship between the two nations with great pomp, after the trip was postponed in March.
It also marked a crucial reset of the Anglo-French relationship after a near-total collapse in trust in recent years.

What a charming King Charles III is. He's so much better than his mother, the trash Queen Elizabeth II. He must return monarchy to it's former glory, the Parliament is full of crooks and lobbyists of the Capitalists, it must be reined in. After reforms in the country, like all good Kings he must look out, it's time to invade France. The french are already in disarray, now is the time for actual occupation. Also, the role and institution of Church must be raised and the Parliament should be subdued by the Church. Fresh policies for a happier Britain!

Lovely positive reporting! This was a successful venture obviously setting the scene for future friendship and mutual support.
Thank you because I managed to see the visit of the king minute by minute on French tv until… the Pope landed in the middle of the 3rd day 🫤. He came to Marseille for a celebration in a cathedral, what was, of course, broadcasted by all information channels, so we didn’t see at all the end of king & queen’s visit.
But we were very glad to have them here and I was happy to see how my fellow citizens welcomed them 😊.
I hope He comes back soon and visit us more often.

How wonderful the King and Queen on their first state visit to France 🇫🇷 visiting Paris and Bordeux . Queen Camilla looked lovely in pink when they arrived and very looked very elegant in Dior wearing a diamond and saphire necklace , earings and bracelet at the the state banquet , at the palace of Versailles. Very proud of our King and Queen . France is a beautiful country . Thank you so much to the people of France for giving the King and Queen such a wonderful welcome and ready rolling out the Red Carpet . A 2 minute standing ovation given to King Charles in the Senate .

I too am very proud of our King and Queen. I think they’re a fantastic couple and I hope they have many more years together.
One of the things I like about Charles’s French is I can understand a lot of what he says. It’s the British accent.
Many years ago my mother and I were in Notre Dame. She put her camera on a pew, and then walked away forgetting it. Naturally it was not there when she went back shortly afterwards. We reported her lost camera to the guy in the information booth near the front of the cathedral. He looked regretfully at me, explaining (in English- he took pity on my attempts to use my school girl French) he doubted we would ever see it again.
I went over to my mother to tell her the bad news. As I was telling her this I heard a woman telling the information guy in French that she had found a camera. I rushed back over excited that not only had the camera been found, but I understood most of what she said. Sadly for my French it turned out she and her friend were English 😊.
