- Most notably known for his limitless scoring ability and flashy dunks. Edwards is a surprisingly tough defender despite lapses in effort from time to time.
On the ball from the perimeter, he can have even the more potent NBA scorers in front of him yet with his strong core will stay in front and more often than not force a turnover or poke away.
Edwards and McDaniels have the potential to form one of the more formidable duos in the league that can score with ease and have you in hell on the defensive end.

Underrated defender.
When he’s locked in he can be one of the better defenders at the guard position. It just so happens that he also has to carry a heavy load on the offensive end.

My god, the way he's able to go from a full sprint on a switch and THEN be able to stick to the ballhandler STILL on the catch and drive.. that is just unbelievable body control and athleticism. I mean most times we just see the switch and the ballhandler blows past them to the rim. The fact he can even catch up to them from a dead stop is... impressive.
If he didn’t have such a heavy offensive load I think he’d quite easily push for an all defensive team. Still likely he competes for a selection these next few years 🙏

Definitely would have had the potential to be a gun wide receiver.
He has the potential to become the best on ball defender and DPOY but it would be really hard because he has to carry the offensive lead as well.

ANT can be a better version of DWADE the way he defends... the peak of edwards if he keeps working hard is freaking scary... Can be the best player within 2-3 years time.
The sky is really the limit. Being compared to Wade in itself is a huge compliment. One of the best to do it at his position.

I actually thought the same watching Cams college highlights. A far less explosive Edwards but I can see the resemblance.
@@HowlHighlights yeah i didnt know how much heavier he was than edwards going into the draft cam 6'7 230 ant was like 6'4 210 my comp was mainly the jumpshot release and the stepback both good defenders but yes ant is much more explosive and the nba is more open and spaced out lets see what cam can do
I think minesota should try and get christian wood.. and trade KAT for Demar Derozan or PG13
It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to go out and get Derozan or PG13 whilst Edwards & McDaniels will be the focal points of the team going forward.
Bringing in Wood whilst KAT or Gobert are still on the team would also push Naz out of the rotation and I wouldn’t imagine Gobert and Wood at the 4 and 5 would fare better then KAT & Gobert.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Gobert trade just ridculous you are wasting Ant brilliance I just can't get over that.
Timberwolves could be a real threat if they realistic build around Ant after they made playoffs las year.
What Ant need is a another reliable veteran star who is consistant and can share the offensive load and a bunch of solid vet you can play in the playoffs in my opnion.
I really hope they can trade both Gobert and KAT in this offseason but Gobert contract is imposssible to deal with🥲

@@HowlHighlights Ant and Jaden are great! But we need more defensive and shooting depth, I like Jalen Suggs or Alvarado + Finney-Smith coming off the bench. I think Jose and Ant would mesh so well. Gobert may need to go because as good as he is defensively, we need some balance between offense and defense, offense looked really nice when he and kat were out but at the same time when ant, jaden and gobert are all on the floor we're a top 3 defense. some questions going into next year. also alexander-walker is a beast!
