You buy one of these drop-dead gorgeous, rock-solid cars at an extremely depreciated price (orig. $120k+), but just know the "value" up front is b/c, like any supercar, repairs are astronomical compared to your average daily driver. But this is a special car :) I bought a 2006 w/81k after owner put $3,500 in service (maint. and a couple mech. repairs). One year of care-free driving and 7k later, I have a slightly higher maint/service bill but nothing in between. This is fine, b/c considering I am driving a Mercedes-Benz AMG supercar that looks and drives like new for $100,000 LESS than sticker price ten years prior, adding as much as $4,000 to even $5,000 per year to own is not a bad deal. If you understand $3-5k a year is likely and are willing to accept it going into this car, then by all means, enjoy the wonderfully low cost of getting into one (before prices start going back up!). I hope to drive my sweetheart another 8-10k, then sadly sell it before getting too close to 100k. I may just be looking for another just like it with lower miles ;-)
