💜Brontë Sisters … Orson Welles …This Gothic Classic and You … Thank You and keep sharing your knowledge, makes the Films even more interesting and engaging . Take care!
Thank you too!
Thank You so much for posting this beautiful movie ! I first read "Jane Eyre" as a very young girl. It turned me into a "Hopeless Romantic" for my entire life. I thought this movie was the epitome of the best rendering of the book. I had no idea that Bernard Herrmann was the music conductor of this movie, I always associate him with Alfred Hitchcock, and lot's of violins going crazy (Psycho). Orson Wells was a Genius. He was a consummate actor, and a brilliant Director. The cinematography in this movie is so beautiful, and atmospheric. If this movie was shot in color it would lose it's "Gothic" feeling. The actors, and actresses in this film are all outstanding,I love Hillary Brooke,as a child I remember her in Abbott and Costello, and Sherlock Holmes movies. I thought she was one of the most beautiful women on screen ! "Citizen Kane" is on my 100 best movie list.Henry Daniel always scared me ! His voice was so sinister.Remember him with Boris Karloff in "The Body Snatchers" ? I could go on forever talking about my love of this movie, the book, the Actors..etc. Thank You for your hard work, and sharing your love, and appreciation for such excellent movies. Cindy 🎥 📚🕯
A wonderful movie. Orson Wells' voice was fantastic. It is a fact that Charlotte Bronte worked as a governess. I read her journal and was surprised to discover how difficult the work actually was and how poorly a governess was treated by her employers.
Thanks for uploading
My pleasure
Just noticed how similar orson wells voice here is to Kelsey Gramer’s from Fraiser. This is the most gothic film I’ve ever seen. Brilliant.
Excellent 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Great as always.
Glad you think so!
I`ve seen a film during a sign of alarm. The film is unusual. The end is beautiful.
This is a fine adaptation, but the best is SCTV's version of Jane Eyre.

There are some really good ones, but this one is so Gothic. I'll give Jane Eyrehead a watch Lol!
@@themysteriousdomainmoviepalace She comes from a long line of Eyreheads, LOL !
1:52:35 the infamous rough kiss, mum and I laughed and were surprised at it. like, wow Orson take a chill pill.
If you don't want to hear my stories, please fast forward 18 minutes.
I love hearing your stories, and enjoy "The Rabbit Hole " You take us down with all your research on these wonderful movies from the "Past" ! I wouldn't dream of fast forwarding ! 🕯📚🎥
Your stories are as good and maybe better than some videos - never worse.
Hi. Could you tell us the reason why Elizabeth Taylor wasn't included in the credits? I thought you might know the story on that. Thanks.
I don't know why. I couldn't find the reason. She stands out, though!
@@themysteriousdomainmoviepalace Yeah. It's strange. I always thought that anyone who had a large speaking part and were in many important scenes were automatically listed in the credits. Maybe her name belonged to a different studio under contract at the time and she was just on loan for this film? That's all I can think of.
Nearly all actors and actresses have played bit parts in films and not received a mention in the credits. 🙏
If wife #1 had a life anything like Jane's, It would be no wonder she went crazy.
Oh , please ,enough is enough!stop speaking.Give us chance to watch Jane Eyre.!!!
This woman is horrible ,she can''t stop speaking
Do you know howbto fast forward? Or is that too difficult?
Fast forward 18 minutes to skip my stories. I have more than usual on this one.
❤
Thank you very much for the upload. A fantastic classic gothic.
My pleasure!
