I just bought this motor and I had no idea how to wire it, in 5:16 minutes you showed me exactly how to do it. Thank you for your concise and very helpful video!

I thank you so very much! I’m making my own homemade flat lapidary machine from scratch and this totally saved my project! I have no wiring experience, but you made it super easy!!! 🤗

Thank You, Sir, for sharing this video to wire my motor. I have a different one but because you have clear instructions on how to do it it comes easy for me now. It is not another video out there that hard to understand for me. The most I like is you show us the wire clearly while you connecting them all!

Thank you so very much. My table saw replacement motor came with a wiring diagram, but no instructions. I’m not terribly experienced with electrical stuff, but your video made it super clear what to do. Bless you, sir!

Excellent video with very easy to understand directions. I’m sure if I were to merely look at the instruction book, I’d be scratching my head until I called someone for help!!...I’m sure that I’ll be able to apply the concepts learned from this video. Thanks for taking the time to explain the various wiring options for this motor, depending on which direction one wants the motor to rotate. Great job!

Thank you, just got one and read the direction. Wasn't sure how to wire it or which way you looked at the motor to figure out which direction it needed to spin. You saved me some time and a few redues lol

I have the 2hp version and it has tORQUE. I turned it on and it jumped off my bench and hit the floor hard. It still works and is still serving me after 3 and a half years. and no damage from the fall for those who were wondering :)

Exactly what I needed! Thank you kind sir! I Did not know from which side to determine CW vs CCW. I thought I needed CW, but turns out I needed CCW. I am used to seeing a different type of wiring diagram...so you helped a lot.

I wired this exact motor but for whatever reason the thermal cutoff switch is WAY too sensitive. I can't run it for more than 5 minutes in 90° weather without it shutting down for 10 minutes. This is under very light load, used in a belt sander.
...Is this motor just that weak to heat or can I safely adjust/bypass the sensor?

Bought 6 so called 1hp smith and jones harbor freight garbage motors for 48 inch chicken house fans, and like my luck with their other electrical junk all 6 were dead in a few weeks. they say 1 horse power bull s%^t they all had problems starting the fans from a dead stop. the 3/4 hp dayton motors that failed after 20 years of service would do a frigging belt burnout, called grainger and got 6 dayton motors. harbor freight you buy it it is yours they will tell you anything to not replace or warranty their garbage.
