Lecturing her about how "it can't be a whaleshark because..." is, I'm sorry, plain stupid. Since whale sharks aren't actually glittery in nature, and neither are seals. It's supposed to look cute, not accurate. Next, you may criticize it not being to scale, that'd be nice.

#diydare maybe make squishies in little slime containers that look like different slimes? And you can try different textures I think would be so so cute 💕💕

You should try to put a layer of clear squishy mix, let it cure for a few hours, add glitter, then add the color on top and see if it keeps the glitter in a layer effect!!!

Maybe you could coat/dome the glitter on top of the whale sharks with a thick layer of clear gel to get them to lay flat? And maybe, when making a new squishy like this, have a layer of clear gel pre-hardened in the mould, then lay the glitter on that, then fill it with the colour gel?
I just made my first squishy, and it came out sooooo cute! It changes from blue to greenish blue. The color changing powder you linked in your video was really expensive, so I ended up finding some from "let's resin".
In the future, you could try mixing all of your pigment into one of the components before adding the other one. You'd have to make sure your math was right, but then you could be sure you mixed thoroughly! Also, you might get better results with the glitter if you put down a thin layer of gel made without it first, wait for it to cure, and then fill the rest with the mixture you want. Just a thought!
Oh and what you want to use for color change stuffs use Thermochromatic pigment. It's tiny little crystals that change their shape based off heat and in doing so reflects different wavelengths of light giving you a large spectrum of colos to view as it shifts through its temperature grades

It wouldn't work i think that "melts" to fast so the thing she makes will just flatten like slime and the nail polish might not dry idk
Areee Ash I think it would work because the harder the putty is the slower it melts and besides you never know

Hitohada gel was complicated(not to meantion expensive), this is super simple - equal parts solution, pour in mould, wait to dry. Bingo, a squishy!
