Pierluigi Del Mastro since the 2000 he has been extremely irregular. When he reappeared in Rock in Rio with his (back then) new band (with Buckethead Robin Finck on guitars, Brain on the drums) he was singing like Mickey Mouse, worst thing I've heard on my life, the MTV VMA in 2002 were even worse, then in 2007 he did one of the greatest vocal performances ever during the Download Festival, then he started singing like shit again, specially in the Rock in Rio disaster. I saw GNR in Vegas last year and it was really good, but in the GNR reunion last month he was simply impressive. Now this performance with AC/DC just get him back to the status of one of the greatest rock vocalists ever

Maybe he preserve his voice for the main events, even if Rock in Rio is very important...anyway now with ACDC...incredible..i'm gape...stunned...and...HAPPY!!!!! Bon Scott songs are quite OK with Axl Rose but the Brian Johnson songs are terrible. What Axl Rose is doing good is that he catches the spirit of Bon Scott better than Brian Johnson but Axl's voice got really poor ... So for me that is no long-term solution which is truly representing AC/DC ... But my respect goes to Axl Rose that he took on the challenge !!!
